    Best dim sum I've had. Only downside is praline can be tough (hard to find parking anywhere in sf tho!) sometimes I get lucky and a spot just appears. Food is fresh and the people are nice enough!

    Great dim sum. Sit upstairs. Call for reservations. Bring 12 people. Wonderful dumplings, buns, soup, eggplant, shrimp rolls, sticky rice, and noodles. Finish with mango dessert with condensed milk.

    The core dim sum (xiao long bao and chia siu bao) will disappoint, but some less well known options pick up the slack. Instead, focus on ha yeung and don tah and you'll be very happy!

    The dim sum is a little pricier than other nearby options but very good. The dumpling skins are thin and not at all gummy. Try the shrimp and pea tip dumplings and ask for a booth downstairs!

    For dinner, get the Hakka specialties, liked the famed Ton Kiang Steamed Salt Baked half chicken 東江鹽焗雞, or the Steamed Bacon/ pork belly with dried mustard greens 扣肉.

    Solid dim sum. Pork bump kings and shrimp crepes were good. Don't bother with any entrees

    Baked BBQ pork buns, veggie noodle roll, beef noodle roll, Chinese broccoli, egg custard tart were all yummy. Steamed BBQ pork bun was decent but baked was better. Pass on the Shanghai dumplings.

    Don't let the long line daunt you - the dim sum at this cheap hotspot is well worth the wait. Cha siu bau and har gow are chosen off carts, or order a full dinner entree (try the salt-baked chicken).

    Head over to Ton Kiang, and when you are ready to eat, go next door to Golden River. Dim Sum at less than half the price! Just do an Asian headcount at both places and follow their lead..

    Here, servers skip the traditional dim sum carts and pass dim sum items by hand. It's a smallish space that still sees lines out the door on a weekend, so try to aim for an early weekday lunch. Read more
