Tony’s Pizza Napoletana is the home of 9 time World Pizza Champion Tony Gemignani located in the heart of San Francisco’s Little Italy.
Getting whole pizzas is annoying. Usually takes longer than they say it will. Meanwhile, your pizza is getting cold because they haven't bothered to look at the name on the box. Get a slice instead.
Believe the hype and the awards!
The Eddie Muenster is a winner with fried kale (!!!), smoked bacon, calabrese peppers, muenster cheese, honey and lemon.
Get in early and get anything on the menu. With fresh ingredients directly from Italy you can't go wrong!
We ordered two pizzas for two people. I'd like to say it was a poor life decision but there were no leftovers.
The New Yorker Pizza is amazing! Prepare for an hour wait on the weekends!
Duh pizza is off the chain , pricey but worth it
Pizza to-go is clutch if the wait is long (which it always is)
Order in advance for pickup if you don't mind takeout. Weekdays are empty in the restaurant, but weekends are packed - long line!
Best pizza in North Beach
Great New York slice
1000 degree New Yorker, add some basil 👌
The New Yorker is hands down the best pizza in the world! Yes, the world!
I can't get enough of Tony's white pies
They only make 23 of the Stout and Sausage pizza each day, but it's a must get. Go early, and hope there's not a line waiting to get in...
Long waiting time but everything is yummmm
The gluten free pizza is so tasty...
Get the Margherita pizza!
Cal italia is my fav
Unforgettable pizza! Not expensive. A bar-like atmosphere. You can quickly get a couple of slices "to go".
Coccoli Italian. The best!!!
Great pizza. Not my favorite in the city but a close second.
I'm delighted when i find places that care this much about their craft. They will even tell what kind of fire they're using and what temperature
They only serve 73 margherita pizzas a day! I want to eat all of them!
Margherita pizza and the Spaghetti and Meatballs were both delicious. Looking forward to trying more on the menu.
Pizza! If you're a New Yorker, eat here.
Great cocktails (try the Noisy Boy) to wash down your margherita pie
The gluten free crust was tasty, and all that prosciutto!!
Great pizza and we didn't even have to wait that long to be seated. We did wait a loooong time for the pizzas to be served. Also, I personally prefer the pizza and vibe at Una Pizza Napoletana.
Always busy and packed, but surprisingly fast, even the wait time. Delicious pizzas. A must is the giant meatball as well.
The meatballs and pizza are awesome!!!
The takeout is great and short wait. I loved the meat feast.
Try something different.
Excellent pizza aside, if you sit outside on the parklet you can get booze.
Best Californian Vegetarian Pizza ever so good!
There will be lines. If you don't care, go next door to buy slice or get it delivered via trycaviar or postmates
Tried calzone, margarita, and some sicilian style pizzas, all exceptional. Very good cocktails and cool bartenders. A place I visit on every SF trip.
Order a Moscow mule with their margherita pizza and meatballs with side of cheesy garlic bread. If you do not want to wait long, try the bar usually a few seats open up quickly!
They only make 75 margherita pizzas a day, so get them fast!
Best pizza in sf Italian district
Simple flavors done perfectly - first slice of cheese pizza as an adult- loved it
I knew everyone says this but Tony's honestly does have the most excellent pizza. There's so many different varieties and they are all fantastic. You must try!!
Derp... the pizza
Skip the line and scoop a seat at the bar. Full menu and you can get one of the 73 world famous pizzas that they make!
