    The museum staff turned all the lights off 5 mins before the closure time and there were 15-20 ppl in. Had never seen such a thing before 😮

    Very moving and in depth. It will take some time to go through everything. Most documents are translated to English, however the audio tour was only in German and French, at least for now.

    Really moving and informative museum about the rise of the nazi's, the SS and the tragedies that occurred. Free admission and nicely laid out. Loads to go through so take your time.

    Fascinating place to learn about the rise of the SS and the small steps that it took for people to let it happen. Do go, but prepare for a sombre experience and give yourself plenty of time.

    Beautiful photographs of the era. Text only in English and German, audio guide only in German. If you don't speak either I'd quickly go through it anyway as the photographs are really interesting!

    Impressive exhibition about the SS and Nazi terror in general. Along the street there is a long piece of the Berlin Wall as well.

    Very moving exhibition about the horrible crimes commited by Germans before and during WWII. Can get quite busy on the weekends. Entry is free.

    Location heavy in history. Free entrance. Exhibition is taking place both inside and outside. If there was one museum to recommend about Berlin in the WWII it would be that one.

    Definitely a must see. Seeing the Wall itself is mindblowing, but seeing the Gestapo ruins and going through their exhibit... Sad but important.

    Totally worth the visit, specially considering that it's free. Really interesting museum about the nazism. It mainly has photos and text. Expect to spend a couple hours here.

    Lots of history accompanied by pictures and and actual recordings. To fully appreciate some understanding of the German language is necessary as some documents aren't translated for obvious reasons.

    Eerie, horrific and confronting; this museum is a must. Do yourself a favour and expand your knowledge of the Nazi party via wandering through the exhibit. The stories and photos are truly personal.

    Forget the museum, too special. Just visit the free open air exhibition about Nazi rise and post war Germany. Teaches a very valuable lesson with very simple words and photos. An absolute must!

    Very impressive place about how the SS terrorized between 1932 and 1945. If you are a tourist, show some respect and don't take pieces of stone of the walls with you. Leave them where they belong.

    Excellent. A lot of time required to read everything. During the “Third Reich” this was the location of the headquarters of the Secret State Police, the SS and the Reich Security Main Office.

    I'm astonished. How is it even possible for the german staff to behave like bored kids, laughing loud while making fun of visitors, in such a sad place ? Seriously ? Go work at Burger King, not here !

    Выставка на улице, музей (вход свободный)... очень тяжело потом, если все это прочитать и просмотреть. Но историю уже не изменишь, есть шанс только избежать таких ужасов в будущем, зная как это было.

    Hier wird gezeigt , wie es damals im kalten Krieg war, auch wie Sinti & Roma gequält & wurden, u.a. Otto Rosenberg (der Vater von der Sängerin Marianne Rosenberg) , welcher mehrere KZ's überlebte.
