This zoo is huge so it's quite hard to see everything all in one day. It took us a while to find any animals, a lot were not in their enclosure.

Go on a Monday morning to see the pandas in peace! The polar bears have a great space as well. Beautiful zoo but not a lot of cafes or places to sit.

Beat the lineups at the gate by pre purchasing admission & parking tickets at this site: https://tickets.torontozoo.com/purchaseProductSP.aro?sum=Zoo+Admission Gives you more time to see the animals!

Not sure if 5 min looking through the glass on cubs and 5 min looking on big panda outdoors is worth to stand in the line for an hour. TIP: try to check the line at lunch time (2pm) it can be shorter
  • Alina R.
DON'T seat on zoomobile at all other stations (not main station) for zoo round trip ride, they make you to leave the train and stand at the end of the line at the main station!!!!! So inconvenient (((

Big zoo, a lot of animals. Interesting stories from zoo keepers. Great splash pad. Worth to spend all day long. We've been there from 12 p.m till 8p.m (after 7pm it's clothed but you can walk around)

My absolute favourite zoo I've ever been to. It's huge-- definitely can spend more than a day here!!
  • Cheryl D.
I just spent the whole day taking pictures of the pandas. They are absolutely adorable. Where else would you spend Zoo Lovers Day?
  • Glen F.
The baby pandas are getting all the publicity lately but the baby rhino and polar bears are cuteness overload!

Great place to hang out for the day but be careful with weekend hours, Google search says 6pm but are actually only open until 4:30!

It is so hot outside but polar bear is here! I couldnt stand when I see them! Also it's one of the biggest Zoo in the world but there are few animals. I think, it's a waste of time.

Plan for almost the whole day if you've never been. In the summer try to get there before 11:30 to avoid having to park in the "other" lot. The Canada exhibit is down a very steep incline, avoid it.

Excellent day out but I'd pack a lunch unless you want fast food. Wear comfortable shoes - the Canadian pavilion is a bit of a hike and the way back is up a very steep hill

If you can spend one day here make sure to check the animal showtimes. Tip: Most of the showtimes are adjacent to other showtimes. If you bring the kids with you they are definately going to love it.

Parking: Add $10 on top(Free after 4). Because the zoo is huge you need a fast walking speed to glance through all the animals taking atleast 4 hours. Slow walkers need atleast 1 full day.

Make sure you get one of these parking passes. Biggest scam in the world. Instead charging at the entrance like every other park everywhere.

Nice visiting in winter. New polar bear cub is cute. The caribou, reindeer, snowy owl, otter, beaver, polar bears feel right at home in winter.
