Opens at 5, but get here at 4 if you want a table.
Fun food, and delicious-- did the taster. Next time will stick to savories and just look at desserts. Salmon cake was awesome. Way too loud for comfort.
This place is not for the laid-back or the unadventurous. Unique food, presentation, staff, music, and atmosphere. Tasting menu FTW. Be prepared to wait for seating.
15 course tasting!
On Mpls St Paul's list of Insider Eats for the sliders and a Surly Fender
Wow!! Get the 15 course. Great fun.
One of the best dinners I have had ever. I have waited up to 3 hours for a table and its worth it. Mushroom soup is amazing. Might not want to bring picky eaters though.
Phenomenal!! Get there early or hang out in the bar for a couple beers or wine while you wait. It's worth it. Get the 8 course.
The 8 course tasting menu for two is $10 cheaper on Tuesday & Wednesday - and I'm stuffed!
Order everything on the menu. 15 course meal only $125. 8 courses $70 ($60 tue and wed)
Staff is absolutely not sensitive to food allergies.
Fabulous food. Great energy. Fun staff. But do NOT bring a crabby husband who isn't prepared to wait 3hrs for a table.
Try the Da Boot
Try the Beef Tartare
Try the Crepe Like With Ham Salsd - LOVED IT!!!
Try the Baby Octopus - First time having this, but I'm sure it's good. Baby octopus with baby pancakes
Try the chips and dips - Nothing here is bad!
Try the Beet Salad - This beet salad is amazing!
Order the tasting for two. You won't be disappointed, BEST. Food. Ever.
Try the Dessert
Try the Pork
Try the Rabbit
Try the Amuse Bouche
Try the Beef Carpaccio
Absolutely go for the tasting menu. It's filling, amazing, and tons of fun.
Must stop destination!
Andrew Zimmern sampled a unique take on farm fresh food here, one of the most innovative restaurants in the Twin Cities and in the US.
It was worth the hour wait. Wine while we waited was super! Seemed to be slower after 7:30pm.
If its your first time, bring someone fun and get the sampler 10 course meal (for 2). Come hungry and be ready for one of the best meal experiences of your life!
Get a few plates and share!
10 courses for $70, but be prepared to wait. Bon Appetit recommended them for Pete's sake!!
Very Popular local spot, be prepared for a line
Order one of everything!!!!!!
Holy shit this place is *amazing*. Get here early and do the tasting course. Mind. Blown.
10 course tasting dinner for 2 = $60. Each dish is brought out and explained by the chef that makes it. Yum City.
Show up early. The place always packed, and they don't take reservations.
Tasting menu is the way to go. Not into that? Then do the dessert tasting! You will not be disappointed!
They've got the best house-made charcuterie, crazy-low prices (a ten-course tasting menu for two for $60!?), and smart food that applies elements of molecular gastronomy to Midwestern traditions.
Must do the tasting menu. Amazing flavors and such a bargain.
Get the 10 course, 2 for $60. Doesn't get any better than that. :-)
Eat eat eat! Fish and chips are amazing, blue cheese tots bites of heaven, dessert platter to cry for !!
Best mushroom soup on the planet!!
Honestly, not as good as you want it to be. The 10 course meal for 2 people is filled with teeny tiny dishes, most of which are only 40% edible. Not worth it.
The rabbit dish is AWESOME!!
I don't eat or like beets, but the beet salad is surprising delicious!!
Don't arrive before noon.
