Tres Gatos, the first (and only) tapas restaurant/ wine bar/ book and music store in Boston!
Fantastic tapas and record store. The prawns come in a rich, roasted tomato sauce that's hard to get enough of
Great selection of tapas to try out with friends!
2015 Best Brunch: "… dinner-menu staples like the lamb bocadillo … While you’re waiting for your table (there will be a wait), browse the back bookshop for fiction, art books, vinyl, [etc.] …"
incredible! every time! 6 tapas for 2 people is usually perfect.
Changing seasonal menu, fantastic staff and bar.
The food is excellent to share and taste different dishes with your guests. The staff is very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The ambience very much alive! Great place to visit!
Watch out! Sangria is not sangria. It's a kind of soft drink. But the three tapas we tried were great, tasty. Patatas bravas, recommended.
Menu is not impressive; but everything we tried was pretty good. Particularly enjoyed the chickpea fritters and lamb burger. Nice cozy place. Check out their vinyl record collection at the back.
The hash. And the bartenders. Oh yeah - and the chickpea fritters.
Kale-and-sausage bowl with yellow-eyed peas.
It's all good - interesting selection of sherry too.
Really cool record shop in the back.
I recommend sitting at the bar! Try lamb hamburger...
Amazing tapa place. Went here for brunch and it was great! Food was great, coffee was sooo good, and the waitress was very attentive
(Best of Boston 2013-JAMAICA PLAIN) Improper Bostonian says, "The darling of Centre Street, this record shop/bookstore/tapas restaurant hybrid brings the best of three worlds under one old roof."
Amazing tapas! Best I've had in Boston. There's also a great book/record store in back. Loved my bartender too!
Best dish: Gambas al Ajillo!
I liked everything about this place except for the fact that a small glass of plain orange juice is $6..........
Nice atmosphere, decent but not stellar tapas, and slightly iffy service. Overall a good experience, but too pricey.
Excellent food and great service. The staff was friendly. Didn't have any food I didn't like. Highly recommend the boquerones. We had 3 ordered our table shared. Don't miss the Serrano ham either.
Excellent service and very reasonably-priced tapas.
Get the chickpea pancakes. Amazing!
Enjoy small-plate staples (patatas bravas), entree-size delicacies (grilled Vermont quail), and spot-on desserts (churros and hot chocolate) with your Bob Dylan.
Probably the nicest staff ever!
Gambas-perfectly cooked- heads on-not to much garlic. Skate was the second best item on the menu. The chocolate covered almonds were surprisingly delicious-salt and sweet in perfect harmony.
The bocarones are amazing
Lamb's tongue with creamy grits... Do it!
The patatas bravas are fantastic! And don't forget to check out the record/book store in the back!
Those lamb sliders are off the hook!
Love this place. Everything is good.
I love the phils! Don't forget to check out the book and record store before you leave!!
This is random, but they have the best pickles in the world. Not kidding.
a smidge pricey, but sooo worth it.
I remember *before* this was Roseway Books.
Ryan the cook is so warm. He let us watch him in action. Visit the kitchen and say hi to Ryan. Nicest guy ever.
Amazing flavors!! Grilled asparagus with egg and prawns are a must have.
Mary is super helpful in walking you through the menu and making recommendations. Our favorites were lamb meat balls, confit chicken and asparagus.
