It's hard to explain how awesome this place is. It's as if you are experiencing the entire breadth of North Carolina cuisine in one menu. You can't go wrong with any item.

Vegetables and herbs are provided by the owners' own 10-acre farm. A local bakery supplies the bread, and nearby breweries deliver their best beers, including Pisgah's Organic Pale Ale. Read more

After being told of a 45 minute wait, we waited an hour and a half to be seated by the door that is constantly propped open. Not worth the wait.

Skip the bloody marys. Their veggies are delicious. And don't order the beet salad if you're wearing a white shirt.

Order the Kenny Special: sweet potato pancake with fried chicken and pecans on top. It was named after a waiter named Kenny. Which makes sense.

Go hungry-- everything on the menu is delicious, + they bring you a biscuit with blueberry jam & honey before your meal. Save room for dessert as they've got the best pecan pie in town, hands down.
