With it's 500-person capacity, U Street Music Hall is one of DC's best dance clubs and the fact that they serve-up 100 Proof Smirnoff Espresso shots says it all!
Best live music venue?? Ha! Its a tiny, but ok dance club. But not a live music venue (bands). The stage is about 2 feet high. Shot 1 band here & it was a joke. Never again. WFM stop making lists.

There's almost always an exciting event offering weekdays and weekends alike. Have your photo ID ready and try to take the metro when possible to avoid the parking mess.
