Sat night show- what I did for love
If you get a mani/pedi, ask for Stacy. She is the best in the biz and has great stories about her previous careers. Will definitely be back!
Hip hop Friday improv with Cipha Sounds was great.
Go in through the entrance on A street, when you get into the actual space, you'll be right up front.
Cheap beers and good comedy.
Shows here are more hit/miss than the one in Chelsea, but for $5 you really can't beat them. Watch amateur comics try to work the NYC scene

Upright citizens brigade!
Wednesday nights are great to sit through a gauntlet of 3 shows and then get up and jam!
Good laughs for a small amount of cash.

Cash only everything!
Enter from the bar side to get a closer seat to the stage.
I like this place better than the other ucb because it is low key and more underground feeling. I have some some bad shows, but also really good ones.
It's a long way to the back of the room, so it's a lot easier to hear the show closer to the front.
Saturday, 11:30 O.S.F.U.G. Is awesomely funny rapid fire punk sketch comedy.
Bring your drink into the theatre by transferring it to a plastic cup, available at the door.
Best shows in the city for 5-10 bucks. UCB is and always will be champ!
Phil Hanley's free standup comedy show Tuesday nights at 10 always has a bunch of great comedians.
Great comedy venue with a spacious theater. Rotating craft beers on tap. Check out a jam to do some improv.
i love this place! It's cheap, you get great laughs, and get to see some amazing new/old talents...shows sell out. I suggest making reservations.
jam night is awesome
Really great night of comedy! Get there early for a seat though.
Reserve tickets on line before heading over. Just takes a minute and they do sell out on weekends.
Go to a $5 show! It might be great! It might be terrible!
Get here at least 10 minutes early for the Sunday 8pm show so you can get some good seats. Comedy is way better when you can clearly see the face of the guy / lady on stage!
Cipha Sounds on Friday nights! #TakeItPersonal
Great atmosphere! Indie Cage Match left me in stitches!!!
When at the Tony Show I always sit far enough back so as their mic cable cant reach. God help me if they ever get wireless mics.
Hilarious stand ups!
Don't show up late....standing room...wah wah
You can read The Onion in the lobby and memorize lines from it to recite later during your "improvised" performance.
$5. Hilarious. Well worth it.
Camille's songs are the best!
These tips arent funny
Buy your ticket BEFORE you buy a drink at the bar.
Avoid the bar when improv class is letting out. Those kids are loud!
I dig the bathroom!
Cash only! Come prepared. Luckily the PBRs are $3 and admission is $10.
Get here early to get a seat. Show up close to show time and you could be standing the entire time.
Be sure to use the floors to traverse between rooms and places to stand.
Go see airwolf
After the show grab a slice from the original Two Boots. The best slice on Ave A. If you drive here allow an hour to find parking. Really.
