    Uchi has the best happy hour in Houston. Great dishes like the uchiviche and machi cure are so affordable, and the flavors are unmatched. Plus, rolls like the ham and egg are fun and filling!

    One if the best dinner experiences I've had in my life. Got the "Chefs Selection" which was 10 courses of which I would've ordered none myself. All amazing and surprising. Very pricey though!

    I can't imagine there is a single bad thing on the menu, but the stand outs for me were foie gras sushi, an off-the-menu anchovy sashimi (boquerones sashimi), and the fried milk dessert.

    This restaurant is for sure one of Houston's most exquisite restaurants! Superior thought put into every dish. Be wary of "market price" options. both occasions were $300+. Worth it though :)

    It was my first time here. My server was Pam and she was awesome. She detailed every step of the menu before I could ask anything. & The Ryoshuu is a must try drink for a lady.

    Try the Ham & Eggs - this is a very interesting take on a comfort food, and was VERY good...BUT it didnt quite flow with our meal...should have gotten this earlier in the meal

    This place lets the waiter order for you after asking general likes. If you do not like something, they will take it away. But I liked everything. Stuff I wouldn’t order otherwise but loved!

    Our New Zealand waiter, Matt, gave great suggestions and flawlessly guided us through the menu. The Happy Hour menu was great, and gives you a sampling if their best dishes.

    Try the Machi Cure - suggested to eat like a nacho...pick up yucca chip, scoop yellowtail on top, place asian pear on top, then shove it in ur mouth!!! totally awesome!

    If you don't book, don't bother even showing up, wait is endless and it seems many people got seated before us and I'm not convinced all of them booked, very unpleasant experience

    Don't trust the hostesses. Their job is to keep you from walking out. 40 minutes after reservation. I counted 80 people waiting for a table in a restaurant that seats 140 maxed out.
