The UNI-Dome, as it is commonly known, is a multi-purpose coliseum designed by Thorson-Brom-Broshar-Snyder Architects of Waterloo. For sports, it has a Mondo-Turf football surface that can be rolled up when not in use and an all-purpose floor marked as an eight-lane running track.

The bathroom situation is HORRENDOUS for concerts. I spent 46 minutes waiting in line. Most KYBOs were floor level but you had to have the right ticket. Not attending a concert here again.
Surprisingly, seemingly not very organized for concerts. No signage, there were people going through the gym area trying to figure out what entrance to use. The bathroom situation is HORRENDOUS.
Be nice to your A/V workers.

1995 NFL defensive MVP Bryce Paup (while with the Buffalo Bills) played his college ball for UNI in the Dome.
I watched Kurt Warner play here in college, then got his autograph in 1999 when he came to a game on the Rams' bye week during their Super Bowl winning year.
2007: Joe Flacco played here during Delaware's playoff run by upsetting the Northern Iowa Panthers in the UNI Dome 39–27 in the FCS quarterfinals
