People tend to check in during these times:
Union Chapel is a working church, an award winning venue, and a centre for those who are homeless and in crisis in London
Concerts; film screenings; drinks upstairs afterwards
Great venue for live concerts in in intimate setting
Best music venue in London
Beware: you can't drink in the chapel, only in the designated bar upstairs. Great for more sedate gigs and comedy.
Great venue for a gig. If you're watching something where you have to sit down for a long time maybe bring a padded jacket to sit on 😊
Surreal music venue. So atmospheric. Sit in the pews up the top for a birdseye view. Some Sundays they do midday shows with delightful home made cakes.
Have a cup of coffee while you wait for the gig
Great venue for comedy
If you sit just in front of the sound technicians you're under a heater - good on cold nights

Cup of tea and KitKat goes down well
Small venue but massive in its quality.

If you take out a Membership, not only do you get advanced notice of events, you get a discount at the bar.
One of the best acoustic venues in London. Great architecture, atmosphere, and sound. The pews can be a bit hard on a bony behind though, so either bring a cushion or sit on some clothing.
Best venue in London for an intimate small mid size gig.
great acoustics, saw Jonathan Coulton there tonight. make sure you don't sit behind one of the pillars!
see ANYTHING here. fantastic venue.
Join the Union Chapel and get discounts at the bar. Support a great place and get a little reward. Cool!
Amazing place. I've seen there some of the best concerts ever... Sheila Chandra, Mariza... Such a wonderful venue, such a good taste!
In actual fact the speakers are a hinderance. When the acts walk away from the microphone the acoustics are much better. Sitting in the upper circle is super echoey
Recommend any gig here... One of the most beautiful venues on London.
Best gig venue in London by a mile.
Amazing venue, a working church.
One of the best venues in London. If you come to an evening performance make sure to eat at the food buffet in the bar.

One of the most beautiful live music venues in London - keep an eye out for the free Daylight Sessions gigs on Saturday mornings
The Daylight Music gigs at midday on a Saturday are always great. And free (though leave a donation if you can, to help with the upkeep of the lovely building)
what a great venue for a church!
When attending gigs, shows or—plausibly—religious service in the wintertime, be sure to sit inside the circle of the balconies, since that's where the heaters are directed.
Free lunchtime gigs on Saturdays.
