Historic and still very busy place. There are new shops there which always nice, and there are connections to everywhere. That's a plus in my opinion. Other than that, a nice place to hang out and eat

Purchase monthly pass tickets between the 25th of the preceding month to the 5th of the intended month (I.e., February 25-March 5 for a March monthly pass).

If you're in a hurry, don't walk behind women in 4" heels. Ladies: stop wearing 4" heels if you can't walk fast, especially at a train station.

Need an power outlet? The newer Metrolink cars have them spread out among the seats. Look for the cars with silver-colored exterior that don't have lots of bolts (as in nuts 'n bolts).

Stop and take in the charm of this station. We don't have many old things in California. Then stop at Famima and grab a few snacks before heading to your hotel.
