Well, this place is amazing!
Friendly beer, good beer selections, really awesome acoustics for concerts
Concerts, less known yet great bands
Great venue with awesome bands/singers !!!!
BOYCE AVENUE!!!!! And Chris Allen
Looking for a place to eat/drink? Prohibition Taproom is about two blocks away - great food and beer selection. Leave about 25 minutes before the show to get a decent spot in the balcony.
Best place in Philly to catch live music.
The sound system here is one of the best around. Fantastic place to catch a show.
Holly Williams was great, and the drunk frat boy starting a fight and getting kicked out was cool too.
Excited to be coming back to Philly and checking out Union Transfer, don't think it was open when we were here last time. See you on February 7.
Eat at Lhama Tooth before concert across the street & great burgers & beer
Don't go to the pregnant bartender. You probably won't make that mistake though, because she will be doing the best impression of somebody NOT working you've ever seen.
Silk City Diner is perfect for drinks and food before you come to see a band
Nicest music venue ever!
Superb venue with great staff and reasonable drink prices as well. Not to mention the exception sound quality! One of my favorites venues.
If you are 21+, get a wristband so you can leave and re-enter at your leisure. This is the only venue of this size in Philly that allows their customers to do this.
Find a stellar selection of microbrews at any of the three bars, plus tasty vegan fare.
super cool venue, weird rules about where you can take drinks though
Siracha coconut popcorn. Mmm.
The best venue in Philly. Great selection of beer (they've got cider for those with gluten allergy).
Waaaay better space for music than spaghetti. Like Terminal 5 in NYC but smaller and better. But seriously, who was that chick in the glasses and blue dress?? What a dreamgirl.
Don't forget to try a cup of Little Baby's while you wait for the show to start!
State of the art sound system, lighting and decor. Hand dryers from 1802.
This place fucking sucks ass. They won't let you go outside to have a cigarette unless you're over 21. Lamest thing I've ever heard of.
Built in the early 1900’s as a luggage terminal under the same name, today’s Union Transfer is one of the best spots in the city to catch a concert.
Keep your spot, there's cocktail servers
Best music venue in Philly
Go here its awesome!
Amazing place! Loved it! Would so go back again!!
ride the XXXpress to the roots picnic in philly and save the the cab fare for the “I was there” tee. rsvp here http://on.fb.me/KvjgvE
Bring a hoodie. Cold as hell in here.
Take a shower!
Where else can you enjoy having ice cream in one hand, a drink in the other, and watch a band play simultaneously?
This time drinks were allowed on the floor and one of the nicest staff ever! Fan of this place now!
Little Baby's Ice Cream here for the summer. Woah!
City Rain is awesome!
If you're there for a seated venue, not a rock concert. Bring a warm jacket. They keep the place at a cool 55 degrees for all the hot air and men in the place. I saw loads of women freezing like me
Hang out on the patio across the street at Llama Tooth before the show! List of 40 craft beers and good egg plant fries too
Great place to score some hipster dome
Great concert. Disappointing venue, but really only due to Pennsylvania liquor laws.
No beer allowed on the floor, wtf, damn teetotalers
Couldn't bring your drinks out of the bar area at a Lucero show-just ain't right!
Nicest venue in Philly. Excellent sound and lighting also!
Try the beer. It's wet!
After show drink specials
