Cool clothes for just about anyone, great prices, a dizzying array of color choices, awesome customer service and to me, the best of all the Uniqlo stores in NYC! One of my my favorite retail stores!

Their menswear is great. All my guy friends look fab in their gear (all ages). The women's selection doesn't work for me and I rarely hear women rave about it like the guys do. Soho store is best!!

Sales are awesome, I got this really pretty black maxi dress for $9 and basic Ts for $4-$5! My favorite items there are their jeggins, they have a HUGE collection from different sizes and colors...

Uniqlo's clean lines, fabulous simplicity, uniqueness in details and minimalism looks. My recent purchase-a fleece jacket with a plush-feel fur inside-a 'multitasking' jacket, only $19.00! U?!? Yes!!! Read more

I spend way too much money at Uniqlo, but it's my go-to place for all the basics. Plus, the prices are reasonable and you don't sacrifice quality. If you want to avoid a madhouse, go during the week.

I’m totally spoiled since this affordable Japanese import’s only U.S. store is located in NYC. A good 50 percent of my wardrobe is filled with Uniqlo basics. –Danielle Nussbaum, entertainment director

I watched the.poor cashier get yelled at by a Chinese grandma who read all the prices wrong and wanted a refund for everything she bought. He kept his composure and was very helpful and gracious.

Although fashionistas would argue that there's nothing unique about it. Uniqlo is definitely the less of two evils in comparison to H&M. Good basics, reasonable prices w/o sacrificing too much quality

I've scored some great final sale items there...one sale area among many is under the staircase in the lower level. They r not damaged or defective..just a few left so they want to get rid of it

I just needed a pair of socks. I brought them to the register and the staff refused to sell them to me. They said I would have to pay for three pairs and suggested I donate the other two to charity.

no matter how fashionable you are, the ability to acquire the basics at reasonable prices is huge. that's what allows you to afford the higher priced pieces and that's why i dig this store/company.

You used to be able to get free pant alterations but they changed their policy and it costs $5 to alter pants if they are under $20. So that's why they made their pants $19.90. Dislike this a lot!

Ladies! Go downstairs to the lower level. There's more jeans down there, and sometimes they're on awesome special. I once got two pairs of jeans for $20! And they look designer. Loves it!

Great for urban basics. When it comes time to try on, head to the back, unmarked fitting room downstairs. No line! Also, this is the store where Fashism was conceived. Hurray!

Any and all basics in more unique and fun cuts/styles than Gap (and often cheaper). T-dresses, jeans, sweatshirts, flannels and a great deal on leggings and colorful long underwear for winter!

Line management here during lunch and afterwork hours is awful. They really need more staff members to step up when the line is out of control at peak times:

You HAVE to buy socks or underwear in the multiples they prescribe (e.g., 4 pairs for $12.90). Can't a guy get away with just 3 pairs of socks!

The Japanese chain has made a name for itself by selling easy-to-wear, nicely priced staples and must-have luxe items, like cashmere sweaters in more colors than you’ll see in a bag of Skittles.
