I've been to many Star Alliance lounges around the world, and United by far ranks the worst. There are no food options. Drinks are 1) orange juice from concentrate 2)coffee from a horrible machine.
    Can Savasan · March 7, 2015
  • Global H.
This is a very mediocre United Club. It features wifi, cheese and crackers, hummus, $3 Honkers Ale, and some tired and dated furniture. The United Club in T2 is much better.
    Global Highlander · April 11, 2015
  • James G.
Yeah United. Finally some upgraded snacks. It's a hearty soup, real fresh fruit, and some decent crackers and bread. Not quite a meal and limited if you have any dietary restrictions but a step up.
    James Galvin · July 17, 2015
  • Sung P.
Always mediocre snacks. But the drinks keeps flowing, the bartenders are always nice, and the view can be great depending on the time of the day. No need for wifi card anymore, just connect and go.
    Sung Park · August 16, 2013
  • Hani E.
The staff are wonderful and incredibly helpful. The lounge itself is a bit shoddy - food offerings are poor at best, drinks are mediocre. They need to step it up like LHR.

  • Halle B.
United has A LOT to learn from other Star Alliance Members (e.g. Lufthansa, Singapore and even TAP) that have much better accommodations and service that make you really feel welcome. Unlike here!
    Halle Borges · March 12, 2011
  • Ronnie B.
Military can get in here regardless of your ticket or actual membership. Just show your ID at the desk and they'll let you in. Also, get a free wifi card while here or you have to pay for Internet
    Ronnie Bowen · April 7, 2012
  • DEAN C.
great place to hang out waiting for planes, worth the membership price if you fly as much as I do and eat their snacks but they need to change them up. Tired of carrots and cheese

These United Clubs need to offer more than just wifi, cheese and crackers. They could learn something from Virgin Atlantic's clubs (see image).

Be prepared to not be let in & treated rudely by United staff behind the counter if you don't have your Presidents Club card with you. Reason given for no access..."the merger hasn't gone through yet"

  • Pattapoon S.
United has a lot to improve. I've used Singapore, Thai and Lufthansa lounges. United definitely has the worst lounge out of all. Charging outlets are hard to find, mugs are dirty and less food choices
    Pattapoon S · January 7, 2014
  • Nauman N.
Seems to get a lot more star alliance visitors and one of last clubs that has not been renovated. United - get us another club for terminal C and spruce this one up!

#unitedclubdowngrade UA just recently downgraded complimentary drinks. If you are looking for a drink, you might want to stay away from United Clubs! :( Flyertalk Disc:

This is a pretty fancy United Club. It has super comfy chairs near the front. They have electrical outlets in them too!
    Troy Parkins · May 1, 2013
  • Jayson
Looking for outlets? Once you walk in, go straight back towards the bar.....pick up free beer, then continue forward to the far wall. Outlets always open on this half of the club.....happy hunting!
    Jayson · August 28, 2012
  • Marco T.
Look for seats that have larger tables with power outlets right away. Beer is free (Goose Island is recommended), wine and spirits cost extra.
    Marco Tillmann · December 1, 2012

The shower suites (far right corner of the main room as you enter) are fantastic after a long flight. Heated towel bars are a nice touch.
    Rob Pegoraro · April 21
  • James C.
Be sure to have a couple pre-flight beverages just in case your plane hits a truck on the tarmac. Trust me, you'll be pleased you did.

I completely agree with Halle. These jokers working the door had no idea that Star Alliance Gold members were allowed in. I had to show them the rule on their website.
    Todd Miller · January 23, 2012
  • Chris W.
The bottles on the middle shelf are almost always free. Bud light is usually the free beer. House reds and whites are also complimentary.
    Chris Webb · January 15, 2011
  • Gabriel H.
They won't let you in with outside food or drink! They want to force you to buy theirs. Cause airlines have such a rich culinary pedigree. Off to AA Admirals lounge.
    Gabriel Higham · July 23, 2014
  • Kyle L.
Lounge is not impressive. However the opportunity to take a shower after 30 hours of travel is very much appreciated. Service is also very attentive.
    Kyle Lin · January 6, 2013

Craft beer (goose island) is not complimentary. And I can't buy it now because the credit card machine is down (no cash payment?).
    Aisha Taylor · April 13, 2015

If you want quiet, the business lounge in the back with the cubicles is quite nice. Quiet zone by the entrance often not quiet.
    Krista · September 7, 2011

Only a small snack bar and no food? Even hot water is empty. One of the worst equip lounge - and the HQ for United is in Chicago . Have to learn from the Star Alliances in Asia.
    Kem Chong · April 15, 2012
  • Christopher W.
Free cocktails, beer, wine. Most members get a guest or two in free. Make a friend at the door to get in.
    Christopher Ware · January 2, 2012

You can not bring food in. but the food they offer are horible, either very salty or sweet. nothing comforting. Even baby carrot is bad.

The complimentary "local favorite" beer is Goose Island Honker's Ale, just like at the United Club in T2.
    Michael R. · March 20, 2012

Breakfast: croissants, pound cake, yogurt parfait bar, oatmeal bar, and cereal. Illy coffee, tea, orange juice, and water for beverages.

Free drinks (well). But snacks not so good. You can not bring in outside good? Why? They don't sell any?
    Scott Sweeney · September 12, 2014
  • Kit W.
This is not great, dont even meet the basic standard for most other Asian airlines. Dont expect hot meals, or magazines.

Need to work on ventilating the men's bathroom, it ALWAYS smells like shit! Do yourself a favor and use the general population toilets..

Drinks are free, wifi is free and hospitality is free. The United Club at the B terminal is better.

The house wines are great and free! If you're here in the evening say hello to Hugo at the bar.

Needs a major update in my view - I disliked the fact u had to get a drink from the bar vs having fridges stocked around the lounge.

People leave their wifi cards on the table when they leave. You can use one of those if you are too lazy to go back to the front desk .
