People tend to check in during these times:
If you are there 2 hours or less you park for free.
Mercy has maintained it's excellent patient care standards and Catholic culture, even though it has transitioned into the UPMC system. Facilities and equipment have improved too.
I've been in this hospital for 3 maybe 4 surgerys n I've had no problems with anyone or anything. Nurses r awesome doctors r to. Idk this Liz person but she has no clue what she is talking about.
Spent quite a bit of time here last year. The male nurses on floor 11 (particularly Tom and David.. Don't know last names) are phenomenal & would go out of their way to help me see my also injured bf.
They now have boxed lunches!
I have being in the hospital
The nurses in cardiovascular icu have been phenomenal. They are taking care of my mom's medical AND hygiene needs. Also, the McAuley Inn here is great. Allows me to stay close to my mom while I sleep.
You have to walk around the block to get to HR and employee health services. Kinda annoying when it's cold outside!
Why all the negative Nancy 's! All hospitals have their pros and cons.
ER service sucks. But staff on the floor are wonderful. Has made my stay easier. Thanks ladies, u r the best.
Pittsburgh's own Kurt Angle was born here
Best Nursing Program in the UPMC system for sure!
Idk who the he'll Liz S. Is but she certainly doesn't speak for all patients or employees of this facility. I find her "tip" insulting & selfish.
Their ER is great but if you need anything more than that or have to stay in the hospital, don't come here. They suck for anything else.
There is nothing to eat around here but the cafeteria...unless you venture downtown or order in...
Love the ICU staff. They've been truly awesome.
Watch out for the Bloodbank van. The driver's a prick.
This hospital has THE worst patient care ever. I have worked with them and been a patient there and they are rude and could care less about you. Trust me
