People tend to check in during these times:
The U.S. National Whitewater Center is the world's premier outdoor facility featuring whitewater rafting, biking, zip lines, live music, craft brews and more.
Much more than whitewater rafting. Get an "all sport pass" and enjoy hiking, mountain biking, ziplining and more! Don't forget Fido, USNWC loves dogs.
Ride trails & drink beers
Best Place in Charlotte to hangout on the weekend!
USNWC is dog-friendly -- bring a leash & something to pick up after your pooch. The restaurant here will give Fido a complimentary bowl of water on the patio while you dine!
USNWC is billed as the “world’s premier outdoor adventure and environmental education center.” Home to the world’s largest man-made recirculating river, it features rapids, hiking and biking trails.
Do not come here for the 4th of July fireworks. The exit traffic is not worth it.
I've been out to USNWC about 5 times just to go walk around the water and watch the kayakers/rafters flip over into the rapids. Very entertaining. Then head to the River's Edge Grill for some microbre
Yet again the exit traffic is atrocious!!
14 miles of trails, they charge 2.00 for trail maps, and trails not very well marked. Great for a day trip 40-50 dollars to do all events, trails free
go to whitewater center and go whitewater rafting, if you are feeling crazy try rodeo rafting!
Get a season pass! Well worth the money!!!!!!
A unique and fun way to spend a summer day or weekend day. Tons of activities, and an awesome beer garden with local brews!
If ever in Charlotte, this is a must do. Mountain biking, kayaking, whitewater rapids, rock climbing and more outdoor fun. Amazing lunch spot on-premise w/even better microbrew beer selection.
The highlight for many is the white-water rafting (the currents in the man-made channels can be adjusted so they're safe for kids) but there's also mountain biking, kayaking, zip lines, and hiking.
In addition to all the fun outdoor activities, River's Edge has a great beer selection and tasty food. I highly recommend the black bean burger.
i had a great time doing adventure rafting and mountain biking
Fun place to hang out and do outdoor activities. Thursday nights are the best with live bands!
Great outdoors activities for family, friends or co-workers...all day pass gives access to all activities...a must see/try for the outdoor enthusiast
Spring is here! Spend your weekend at the Center!!
Amazing time! Great for company trips and fun family excursions!
Rafting is a blast but not for the fainthearted...it is a rough ride there! Also try the kayaking and ropes course/ziplines. Mountain biking even on the easy course is hard!!
Looks like a great place to bring your kids or if you're just a big kid! Whitewater, zip line, wall climb, looks like a lot of fun.
Invest in a year pass, its so worth it, if you go 3 times, its paid for itself, the only thing it doesn't include is white water kayaking, but there is a discount
The whitewater rafting may be amazing, but the Center is also home to one of the largest outdoor climbing structures in the US. So whatever your activity of choice, be sure to check this place out!
Don't forget to bring $5 for parking.
Visit the USNWC by coming via watercraft from the Catawba River.
the zip lining is GREAT
The biking trails are great, but not for beginners!
You'll need your own kayak and kit to hit the whitewater.
A perfect picnic spot in Charlotte. A lot more to do than just Rafting. Yes, Thursday nights are the best. Have a great time with friends and family !
This place is a must see. If you are in Charlotte, save a day and participate!
Zip line canopy tour was awesome!!
Rafting a must try, paddle boarding was awesome, people in guest services super nice!
USNWC is a wonderful place to take your pup! However be a smart pet owner and on festivals that have fireworks DO NOT bring your dog. They WILL runaway. Happens every year. Festivals are kick a** tho!
Won't do the brew bash again ,,,, 20 seats empty and 30 min wait to eat!!!!!!
Come to Thursday River Jam! Bring a chair and your dog!
Been there, even did the zip line, great place
The canopy tour may be extra, but it is so worth it! It's a light challenge with a lot of fun zip lines, repelling, and rope bridges. The tour guides were excellent also! I will do it again!
Not gonna lie, a six flags would be way more exciting
Canyon Spur is the most challenging ropes course I have ever done! Great fun!
This place is awesome. Saw it for the first time for 4th of July fireworks. Can't wait to go back. Super cool.
Whitewater River Jam series takes place every Thurs. night, from 7–10 pm, May-Sept. Come out w/friends & family to experience an incredible sunset while enjoying great music, food & drink.
Go down below the entrance to get your tickets because there is no line like there is out front. Bring extra clothes, you get soaked if you go rafting. And if you go, you have to do some rafting.
They don't tell you in advance, but closed toe shoes are required for all land activities.
The All Sports pass is the best!
