One of the highlights of the year for me. Altho I always appreciate swanky corporate seats, I really love the grounds tkts for the great vibe (gets you in everywhere except Ashe)

Allowed to bring some food and drinks in (no glass bottles), so pack something light versus paying $10+ for food. Suggest getting Arthur Ashe tix so have access to other stadiums and matches.Fun time!

The warning not to bring a bag sounds logical but if you are here for 12 hours you need supplies to survive and also save a fortune by bringing plastic bottle drinks and food well worth it!

Chase lounge. Free to chase members food, drinks, snacks and great goodies like quality ball caps. To the fauxjito drink very tasty. You need to get a wrist band at the chase contest booths

Sync your AmEx card to your foursquare account and get the spend $20, get back $10 perk... sweet deal when buying what is probably the most overpriced food at any sporting event in the world!

In the earlier rounds, while you can catch the big name players at Arthur Ashe, if you want to watch truly great tennis up close and personal, head to Louis Armstrong or the smaller courts.

Don't skip the smaller courts. Best tennis I saw all day was a mixed doubles match on court 5.

Same price as the NYC muni courts, but world-class playing! Play inside, on the weekend, before 9 am or after 4 pm for just $38/hr.

Check out the action at Louis Armstrong Stadium, it's usually less crowded, much smaller, and has many of the same top-name stars competing in early rounds.

Food is expensive. Best deal is, by far, the Kosher Frankfooter at $5. Anything else is not as filling and is $8.50 or above!
