Maybe don't wear a dress or a skirt due to the wind and the stairs. Or just wear your best skivvies.

If you are a history nerd, you should definitely go check out the USS Lexington. It is a tight squeeze in parts, but worth it. You can even go on the top deck. Watch out for ghosts though ;)

Although it is a national treasure and a fun museum, an aircraft carrier is not the best for strollers so plan accordingly. Be sure to check out the 3D MEGA Theater; it's free with your admission!

Plan to be there for half the day 4 or 5 hours to really see everything. This place is huge.

Was fun! Went with kids that didn't care about the history. Steps are a bit steep and was sore the next day but was fun!

If you have young children bring a sling or other carrier. Lots of steep stairs!

Go early before crowds pour in midday and you'll have better freedom to explore the huge ship. The IMAX that is included in ticket is a must. Take your pics of Texas State Aquarium from flight deck.
