If you are a history nerd, you should definitely go check out the USS Lexington. It is a tight squeeze in parts, but worth it. You can even go on the top deck. Watch out for ghosts though ;)
Although it is a national treasure and a fun museum, an aircraft carrier is not the best for strollers so plan accordingly. Be sure to check out the 3D MEGA Theater; it's free with your admission!
This place is amazing! A must see for sure!
This is a very intetesting museum. Don't miss if you are ever in the area.
Plan to be there for half the day 4 or 5 hours to really see everything. This place is huge.
Was fun! Went with kids that didn't care about the history. Steps are a bit steep and was sore the next day but was fun!
Great history and exhibits but Angela in the gift shop has no time for anyone
Take in the view at night too...
My hubby & I took the kids here & we Loved every minute of it!!!
Great and friendly staff. Very hospitable to disabled people. Awesome experience.
Wow, This is an awesome adventure....Can't imagine working on a ship like this, I'd be lost for days, Steep steps, but worth it...So much history...
Get there early is gets hot!
Visit Dots before 5:30pm and order Ziegen Bock. Male sure you pound them before curfew at 6. Mr Mark is the best!!
Flight Deck is the best!!
Everything is AWESOME on BOARD
If you have young children bring a sling or other carrier. Lots of steep stairs!
Go early before crowds pour in midday and you'll have better freedom to explore the huge ship. The IMAX that is included in ticket is a must. Take your pics of Texas State Aquarium from flight deck.
