Brilliant museum documenting the history of childhood and toys through the ages with interactive displays and lots of events. Benugo's cafe on Ground Floor with highchairs and changing facilities.
Home to one of the world’s finest collections of children’s toys, doll’s houses, games and costumes
Love the interactive exhibitions!
Pretty interesting! Free Wi-Fi too!
Quite a kitschy but a nice walk down memory lane. Try not to go on public holidays - kids galore (as one would expect!). Nice sit down café on ground floor.
Can easily do this one in an afternoon. Some activities for the kids, lots of memories for the grownups.
This place is not only for the young ones- the doll houses floor is a must!
The most depressing place in the whole of London.
Lovely free museum. Cafe is expensive. Jacqueline Wilson exhibition is great!
Free Wifi but didn't connect well for me. Great selection of kids toys from through the ages.
Wonderful experience for both parents and children alive. A blast from the past.
Picnic area outside with tables and some green space.
Currently displaying jacqueline Wilson's exhibition until 3rd nov!
Can't believe this museum is free! Absolutely recommend it for a family day out! My kids, 4 and 2 years old loved it there and so did I! :-)
Will make you want to buy every toy you had growing up! :)
So many toys but you can't play with any of them :(
Perfect for some voluntary mental time travel.
Noisy and energised with all the little ones underfoot but very interesting too. I learned that hipster frames were an NHS throwback. Who knew?
Great place to visit for a bit of nostalgia, there's lots of toys from different eras, you probably remember playing with as a kid. Lots of interactive things to do. A great day out and for free!
