The Vancouver Aquarium is a non-profit society dedicated to the conservation of aquatic life.
We love the Aquarium and all its habitants. Parking can sometimes be an issue but it's all fun inside.
Be sure to check out as many shows as you can and leave a whole day to do it. Everything is very humane and well done@plus they have a great 4d film!
Sea Otters are the absolute best!
They actually care about them. ❤️
Great place - beautiful renovations , great place to take the kids or big kids ( like me )
Check this out - Its really big and worth the $
Great shows! Make sure you carefully check the schedule. The sea otters are adorable, as well as the belugas and dolphins
Excelente aquário que fica no Stanley Park. Vale a pena conhecer suas atrações marinhas!
So many visitors and kids! Sea mammals are the most popular! Lots of fun.
There are short feature programs focusing on different animals every hour: penguin program is good, so is the one on whales.
A butterfly section with not even one butterfly, but they did hsve a horny turtle trying to jump another. Very fast of course. Nice, but not what I expected...
Интересно смотреть на рыб и животных, но шоу слабые
Amazing! Take your time going through the exhibitions and make sure to go and see some of the shows.
if u have two adults going, buy one adult membership and you get one free admission along with it, price almost the same as buying two adult ticket, plus you get discount on most purchase and food.
Great place to see, nice walk into Stanley Park with an icecream. Dolphins show was impressive!
The After Hours events are fun, time after time. Jellyfish! Otters! Frogs! Of course there are dolphins.
The best aquarium I've ever visited. They basically hade to throw me out after four hours!
Wonderful aquarium right in the park. Terrific live shows, 4D theater and informative, well presented exhibits. Clownfish Cove is a fun spot for the under 8 kids.
Instead of lining up at the front gate for a ticket, use the fast check-ins along the side and skip the line ups. They only accept credit cards.
Parking? Parking? What parking? Drive here bring a hand grenade - blow up your car and claim on insurance after.
The 4D movies are pretty fun to experience. Not to mention they come with admission price. :)
Buy $6 all day parking. You will enjoy your time not being rushed to cram it all in under 2 hours.
Thanks @VancouverAqua for precious wild marine life rehab, research & conservation efforts.
AWESOME PLACE ... A VIP tour is amazing ... Enjoy
The Beluga Show is awesome no matter how old you are!
Waiting for the penguin red carpet walk lol
Stay hydrated before entering the jungle area. It's very humid.
Make sure you check out the 4D movie. Great experience!
The 4d experience : highly recommended
Esta increíble los efectos de la película....
It's always a good time at the aquarium!
Some beautiful whales to see here.
Its also a zoo!
BELUGAS!! BELUGAS!! BELUGAS!! BELUGAS!! BELUGAS!! BELUGAS!!
Do not go if you hate crowds or small children. It's curated in a way that you won't have trouble seeing anything, though.
You'll get the best view of dolphins and sea lions performing if you go during an informal feeding time (around noon when I went).
Watch the 4d salmon run

The perfect place to see penguins and sharks. Fishes are classified by region, it's nice !
One of the beat aquariums I've ever seen
Love it! Nuff said!
It's okay to bring your full travel coffee mug and packed lunch here. Lots of tables inside the aquarium
Went over my summer vacation this year. Absolutely amazing experience! Definitely liked seeing the penguins, but I've always loved otters. I could watch those guys play for hours.
If you haven't done it before, the 4D experience is well-worth 1/2 the price of your admission.
One of the marmosets really like kids and will chase you back and forth across the habitat on the other side of the glass.
Certainly the most biutiful aquarium i've visited.. Dnt miss the show w/ white Beluga *.* ♡
After the show go visit the Penguin named after #hopebc
Go visit the Penguin named after #hopebc
Try to catch the dolphin show. Go there first, then the aquarium. It's outside in the back.
Avoid the 'free' app snappz. 3 QR code locations then you (or your kids) need $3.99 to unlock. Better to just be creative & make up a game to keep kids engaged. Feels like a cash grab!
