I love walking from Marina del rey to Venice Beach. Usually parking is all full in Venice so easier to park further down and enjoy the walk.

Enjoy all the shops & restaurants early, before all the crowds arrive. Bring or rent a bike. Take a trip down the boardwalk to The Venice Pier by MDR or towards SaMo.

You can easily spend hours just walking around here. I love it. Air, air and air. Some ocean too, but fresh air is the first reason to be here.

Venice Beach has always been synonymous with gleaming water, bikini-clad beauties, and muscles. Why not spend a day snapping photos of muscle-bound guys lifting weights at “Muscle Beach”?!

My favorite place in LA. Pot smoking hippies, great handmade jewelry & art for sale, the beach, graffiti wall, what more could you want? Try renting a bike or just walk around & enjoy the performances

To get the cheapest, nicest and best quality pieces, walk alllllll the waydown the boardwalk to a store that has two huge bongs in the window. His pieces are made of inside out glass and won't break.

The one place where LA parallels Bourbon street, LA as far as people watching and far-out characters go. Sadly no legal open containers here...

Strolling the boardwalk? UV strength peaks at solar noon, but during 10am – 2pm, sunglasses are especially essential to protect your and your family’s eyes from the sun.
