Currently my favorite spot in the neighborhood. Fantastic food, wine and service. Yum.
Inspired by Italy and the local greenmarket, here, the emphasis is entirely on local: the produce comes from the Brooklyn Grange, and the walls are a gallery for local artists. Come for the wine tap.
I go here 17 times a week for a reason. Astoria's best restaurant!!
Go to Vesta. Order the Baby Jesus cake -- super sweet and moist, with unsweetened whipped cream to calm your taste buds. Die happy. Really, it gets no better than this.
Everyone isn't kidding about the Baby Jesus cake. It looks like nothing, tastes like everything. We think the secret is dates. ;)
Go to Vesta for Sunday brunch after drinking one too many. Order the hangover pizza -- spicy tomato sauce, eggs, and breakfast meats on a perfectly thin crust. Feel better!
Say yes to cavatappi!
Try the Cauliflower with pine nuts and raisins
Amazing service!! Wine on tap is a treat. Baby Jesus cake is a must!!
Fresh, home made Italian food with wine on TAP! Pastas are all great, but the pizzas are really where it's at. Thin, crispy and great ingredients.
Wonderful food. Friendly staff. Try the house wine blends for a delicious bargain.
Molto buona. Brunch was unbelievably delizioso, esp the hangover pizza and L'Italiano.
The Rib-eye was amongst the best I've ever had. Truffle-potato pizza, slow braised meatballs & hangover pizza. Pretty much can't go wrong. They know how to do it right here.
Plus a block away from me too!!!
Dynamite Italian food in Astoria. Wine on tap... better than it sounds.
Unlike any other place in the neighborhood. Great locally sourced food, local wine from the barrel, great staff. Can't recommend it enough.
Leave Manhattan for the best Italian in the boroughs. Share the "Quacker" pizza with duck, the award winning braised meatballs, and the signature Baby Jesus cake.
Go to Vesta and make sure to get the Baby Jesus cake for dessert.
L'Italiano is absolutely amazing! Don't forget to order the Baby Jesus after, you'll definitely flip for it!
Excellent service paired with some truly unbelievable dishes.
Wine, Ambiance, Service
Hangover Pizza. Forever and ever, amen.
Excellent farm-to-table Italian fare and the perfect neighborhood restaurant in Astoria. The hangover pizza is great for brunch, but no matter when you come, save room for the Baby Jesus cake. Divine.
Great Italian restaurant hidden in Astoria. Recommend the Summer Salad, Lasagna, and Orecchiette. And end the meal with the Baby Jesus cake.
Watermelon and radish salad. Kale pesto. Wine on tap. All my favorite things that I never knew existed.
Happy to award the Snail of Approval to Vesta Trattoria & Wine Bar
Kale pizza omg!
Excellent brunch! But don't tell everyone...
Get the Limoncello Tiramisu!!!!! It's amazing!!!
if you like REAL italian food, steer clear of their lasagna. everything else there is prepared to perfection and they use local organic ingredients.
Our fave this month is Vesta Blend white wine on TAP!
Class act all the way. Hands down best restaurant in NY! Always impressed and always feel the love. Amazing food, superb owners and employees, and beautiful ambiance. Just say YES!
Come not only for the delicious food, but probably the best music selection in Astoria.
This is my fave restaurant in Astoria, if not all of NYC. Warm, wonderful ownership and staff and not to mention amazing seasonal and local food.
no matter what it takes to get here, do it. the menu is fresh yet hearty, and sources local produce. Prices are cheap and owner is a sweetheart. We stayed well past closing and he gave us free dessert
New menu - The rib eye with ramps was AMAZING! I want another one.
The new chocolate bread pudding is to die for
Get the hangover pizza for brunch. Awesome even without a hangover!
get the calamari appetizer, quality compares to Jean georges' calamari
Wine on tap is amazing and fun. Pizza is really good and cheep.
Cozy and romantic spot in the neighborhood. Great value- the menu is always rotating because it's seasonal.
Hangover pizza + Baby Jesus. All you need for Sunday Brunch. The end.
Lasagna both sweet and savory.
Always a great selection of wines and food. I've never gone wrong with anything on the menu ever.
