Vete-Katten grundades 1928 av Ester Nordhammar och fick enligt ryktet sitt namn då den första ägarinnan gav svaret "Det vete katten" på frågan om vad inrättningen skulle kallas.
Little bit of a time travel, beautiful place.
Very nice atmosphere, traditional Swedish pastry. The prinsesstårta is (a ltiny little bit) better at Sturekatten,
Very nice place! Cakes and cookies are really yummy!
Really great "fika" no need to say more...
Traditional, cosy and chic place, delicious food. Highly recommended
This place is one of the classics in Stockholm. It is a must visit when you visit Sweden. I love everything about this place.
Cinnamon bun was good. Pistachio bun was nice too
Get free coffee refills at the coffee counter (for paying customers)
Pistachio bun is good
Classic swedish fika.
vegan kanelbullar / leokanel !
Beautiful old bakery. Order an amazing looking pastry and drink from the front, then find a seat in the maze of connected rooms or just turn left and head out to the garden seating.
Fruit tart and croissants amazing!
Tried the shrimp salad, it's nice!! Light and tasty.
Order by the counter, if garden is open, sit out. It's nice. You can hv coffee and water free here! Help yourself! Sometimes you could even log on the free wifi from the hotel next door ;) enjoy!
Amazing place with several very swedish rooms. This is The place to be happy and fat in Stockholm. They have the best fresh pastries in town!
Lots of traditional Swedish pastries and good quality coffee. The interior is quite interesting. Apparently known for their good kanelbullar.
Cool and partly authentic Swedish pastry place. A lot of good things to choose from.
Old school. Tasty sweets. Not your hipster cafeteria but gives you a nice breeze of aristocracy.
Wonderful place to have a fika. Nice and cozy decor, amazing cakes and pastries (most of them are really good) and friendly, energetic staffs. You must come here for Traditional Swedish bakery
Die beste Konditorei Stockholms!
I'm sure everything behind that glass display won't disappoint. In fact, just close your eyes and point at one if you're an indecisive person like me when it comes to dessert!
Really nice place, well decorated. They have a good variety of pastries for around 24 SEK. It's possible to take out, but better to stay and enjoy the place and its ambiance.
The Prinsesstårta is sublime. The building is beautiful and the service is super friendly. It's a lovely place to spend a morning.
If you want to show a non-Swede what fika is all about, take them here.
amazing princess cake... but they don't know how to make a mocha
Loved the pastries!!
Wonderfully authentic near-homemade food café with plenty cozy nooks. Besides, there are multiple entrances and cashier counters.
Not buying the hype. Pastries are ok but the coffee is dull. And ONE toilet in an establishment this big is not ok.
Cakes, buns, quality food and atmosphere
Really nice food but the ordering queue is really inefficient!
First stop when I arrived in Stockholm. Cute cafe with delicious, fresh food.
If your willing to wait for 10-20 minutes for a (splendid) coffee and semla, go here. You have to fight for your table though.
Fight for a table, then queue up for 15 minutes for an overpriced lukewarm coffee. Should have gone to Waynes..
A cafe with a nice interior design but they don't serve the tastiest desserts.
Quaint, old fashioned interior and amazing pastries! The 'Tosca' (pictured) was gorgeous.
Sf folks this is the closest thing to tartine. Great traditional Swedish pastries (get Semla), bread and coffee
Traditional Swedish pastries and great coffee! Value for money :)
Very crowded at weekends, still worth trying to squeeze in for a lunch
Typical place for fika !
Have the Princess cake ❤️❤️❤️
A great spot for some authentic Swedish pastries. Their courtyard is a great place to spend a sunny afternoon.
Ask for gluten free, egg or milk free delicacies and they have all!
Gem of a Bakery and Cafe with traditional Swedish bakes!
Great atmosphere, yummy baked goods and sandwiches!
Cinnamon buns are just so-so.
Classical, old school café
Coffee, tea and sweets, sandwiches etc. great for fika!
