Nominated by Minneapolis resident, Bizarre Foods host Andrew Zimmern. It is called the Perfect Burger for a reason: blended with frozen butter before being lightly cured, it's a messy, juicy wonder.

Chef Erick Harcey dishes up an ever-changing blackboard of small plates. You can order a la carte, or get an 8-course tasting menu for two for $70 (or a 12-course for two for $100).

The menu includes such English pub delights as fish 'n chips with expert crunchiness and Scotch eggs that are the closest thing to a Faberge that a commoner could hope to encounter. Read more

We stopped by just before close for a Surly on tap. Had devils on horseback- bacon wrapped dates w/blue cheese foam, cheesy tots, & couldn't miss the bacon bourbon bread pudding. One word- Phenomenal!

Truly a hidden gem of a restaurant in North Minneapolis. "Devils on a Horseback" appetizer (dates wrapped in crispy bacon with whipped bleu cheese sauce for dipping) are out of this world!!

Can't decide what to order? Bring a big group and order it all. Bring your own wine and pay the corkage fee. Definitely leave room for dessert.

I wouldn't say the Perfect Burger is actually perfect, but it absolutely delivers for the price. Solid fries, too.

Burger is juicy and great tasting - clever appetizer selection for this bistro pub. Little rock and roll with a dash of pig atmosphere.

Voted Best Burger by City Pages in 2011! The patty is fresh, then blended with butter, and cured for a day. If that is not enough, it also comes with bacon, sharp cheddar, and a swipe of Dijon!

Voted best Neighborhood Cafe (Mpls) by City Pages in 2010. The dessert tray is a fantastic diorama garnished with artful smears of fruit purees, and a chocolate wafer melted tableside

EVERYTHING is to DIE FOR. So delish. This time, we had the scotch eggs, devils on horseback (my FAVE), smoked pork belly, scallop risotto. Also, MUST do the desert plate. Soooo totally worth it!

Stopped in between 4:00-5:00 for a drink. Kitchen is closed between 4:00 and 5:00 😕 and no cocktails just wine and beer. My bloody beer was terrific garnished with Devils on Horseback. Will return

New ownership = awesome, affordable eats. Make a night of it with the 5 or 7-course tasting menu + wine, or just sample some of the small plates with a tasty brewski. Can't wait til the patio opens.

Try the Chefwich. Imagine the chefwich as the sandwich that’s created by a hungry foodist at 2 am–you can’t bet on the contents, but you can bet it’s better than what you could come up with.

Service from the chefs themselves, so the passion for the food is that much stronger. Favorites so far have been the scallops, the tartare and the fish and chips. Oh, and a pint of lift bridge.

Try the pork cheek. It's actually a pork cheek and a piece of tenderloin wrapped in coppa, served with Jerusalem artichoke and baby bok choy with a potato-y sauce. Wonderful!
