People tend to check in during these times:
Bit pants, ordered Damon sashimi salad, covered in in overly sweet sauce, too heavy.
Pho soup and curry prawns: awesome!
They do BYOB from Sunday to Thursday. Interior is nicer than say Mien Tay's but food is not among the best tbh. Not very sophisticated, just very strong onion flavour I can still taste 24hrs later.
The best duck salad in the world.
The best vietnamese restaurant by far.
BYO booze and excellent vermicelli noodle dishes.
Really tasty food and lots to choose from; recommended.
Good food, slow service!
New management.. :(
We waited 20 minutes for our drinks then decided to leave.
Waited an hour for my food; friends that arrived after me got their meals first; had to remind staff 4x what I ordered. At the end of that, the food was average.
Reccomend the pork belly pho 💪
The place seems to be under new management which, sadly, has had an effect on the food. Everything tastes the same...deep fried and quite bland. Shame as this place used to serve very authentic food
New management very freindly but trying too hard 😞 dishes fiddled with too much , missing authentic touch in my humble opinion
Delicious food, and very lovely staff that let us charge our phones as we ate. The toilet door is a bit hidden though, disguised in the ridged wall on the right.
Great food. :)
Service pretty bad. I wasn't given the lunch special menu and had to ask for it. Decent price (£6.50) if u order from this menu.
This place serves insanely good food! My favorite Vietnamese in London!
Food very fresh and delicious. Good value for money. But service is awful!
Amazing duck pancakes and fresh veggies and noodles. Props for specifying nut dishes.
Stir fried pork was amazeballs, steamed fish was not so good
Noodles de camarão (prawn) é coisa lindja muito mais do que lindja.
Food is average at best. The service is bad and some of the staff are very rude. I won't be coming again.
My favourite thai place in this area. Fresh, tasty, good money for value, nice interior!
The salty soft shell crab is a must!!
This place is by far the best Vietnamese on Kingsland Rd. They use fresh ingredients, the dishes are well thought out and they have the best spring rolls ever. Ruth L's recommendations are spot on.
Waited 20 mins for service then left. Go to Tay Do with the green sign instead.
The service is ok, it could be better but good the food is very nice. Try the pork ribs.
Try the sweat pork. The service isn't good but the food is.
Really nice food! It worth coming. Very nice waiters.
The steamed tiger prawns are incredible
My favourite Vietnamese restaurant in London. Cheap, gorgeous food.
Not sure what the negative reviews are about. Great food, service is fine, a little on the expensive side but otherwise good. Make sure you try the beef in bettle leaf or the shaking beef, both great.
Pho's are pretty good here, must try the summer rolls.
Head up the road - this place has gone downhill since the refurb - shame
Slow service (1hr to main with starter- what?) then found huge lump of plastic wrapping in my food. Hard to recommend.
This place has gone downhill since it's refurb. Terrible service, crap cocktails that took ages to come and then only one at a time and food was no better. A victim of it's own success AVOID!
amazing Vietnamese restaurant. Great food, great decor, great prices.
Beef in betel leaf is delish
