Voodoo Doughnut, where the magic is in the hole and good things come in pink boxes.
This is CASH only. They have a convenient ATM inside if you wanna pay the service fee. Otherwise it's freakin awesome and the people or very helpful and great!!
Dirty Old Doughnut, Oreo, Chocolate and Peanut Butter Goodness. Mmm... Neapolitan is pretty good. The blueberry is not so good. Pretty much a donut shaped blueberry muffin with glaze. Awesome donuts!
A maple bar w/piece or 2 of bacon on top=not special. Hoping 4 little more like bacon in donut batter? Think normal donut w frosting dunkd in cereals/cookies/candies. Not bad, just meh. WAY overhyped.
The quieter of the two Voodoo Doughnut stores, but still comes with the same rockabilly vibe. Get your "Big Black Cock and Balls" to experience your body going into bliss, then violent revolt.
Starting think no matter what time of any day...there is a line 20 deep...but at least you can smell the sweet sweet smell of donuts while you wait. . And bring cash! Cash only!
Portland cream, raspberry filled, and the cock-and-balls are must try's at this location. The doughnuts are nothing special, but the nostalgia makes it worth the wait.
Voodoo dozen is a way to go so you can sample a bunch (just disappointed today I asked for no spices since I'm allergic and she gave me the only one with cayenne pepper on...)
I have to say, the original location is much better. Everytime I go to this one the doughnuts are NEVER fresh. It's always empty though so there's no line which is REALLY awesome.
Try the mango tango, however the " old dirty bass" is the absolute best! Remember cash only. Be prepared to wait in line, the counter people are efficient and nice
What isn't good here? I tried the cotton candy one and it was amazing. They have a great sense of humor when naming the donuts.
A fun place to check out for your first visit to say you've been there, but over hyped. Personally I like Krispy Kreme better in terms of the quality of the donut itself.
What's not to love about a slightly quieter version of the PDX staple? The less time I have to wait for a bacon maple bar, the better.
a massive donut paired with coffee. worth it for the diverse flavors. not too busy at all around 3:30pm on a Monday
You can not get donuts like these anywhere except voodoo. If you come to Portland make sure to wait in line and get some! (Make sure you have cash)
I named my voodoo doughnut "Mr Good Man" (much sweeter than original) Mom and I delighted ourselves greatly tearing it apart. Raspberry jelly filling: brilliant touch!
Skip the original location. This one has parking. shorter lines, an ATM machine inside & the same tasty stuff. Seems like a no-brainer to me.
The VEGAN voodoo donut is orgasmic!! I got several others too and the atmosphere here is truly incredible. I love the people and vibe. DEFINITELY coming back!!
If you die while eating a doughnut here, will they just put you in the coffin in the eating area? Seems like a pretty good way to go!
You have to try the Mango Tango at least once. A glazed, mango filled doughnut with tang sprinkled on top. Best doughnut ever.
Get the glazed donut as big as your head with real bacon bits...crazy...maple...once in a lifetime at least gotta try it. Experience...
Donuts seem a bit stale all the time, but whatever -- it's kitsch. ODB for the win, and bring cash. Kenny Rodgers hates your credit cards.
The maple bacon doughnut is oh so bad, but oh so good! This location also has a much shorter line than the one in Downtown.
So much easier to get in and out of this location than the other one that is downtown. Super friendly help at the register!
Way over hyped. Have had much better doughnuts other places. Hey maybe if we stick super sugary kids cereals to doughnuts, people wold love it...
The line can be long, but I'd suggest getting a look at the doughnuts before you get in line so you know what you'd like!
You can always call their number and see where their Mobile Unit is as well !! It maybe parked right in your neighborhood ; )
Get the Bacon Maple Bar, the Mango Tango and the Old Dirty Bastard!!! Make sure that you visit here after the Downtown Bars close.
A Portland staple. You haven't truly visited or lived in Portland until you've had a VooDoo doughnut. Personal favorite is the dirty old bastard.
Not my favorite doughnuts, but probably my favorite PLACE for doughnuts. A pink house with a coffin in it?!? What's not to like?!?
Make sure you ask for a box BEFORE you order or they'll shove them in a bag all together :( voodoo donut doesn't taste as good when you can't make out his face!
Went around 6:40pm and the wait was only 10 minutes. The Old Dirty Bastard was delicious, but extremely decadent and heavy.
Less line than downtown, but less atmosphere, too. At night a combination of elderly and high schoolers.
How's this for an artery clogger, the maple bacon bar doughnut. My arteries are still traumatised.
Maple bacon all the way! Also, go here instead of downtown if you don't want to wait in long lines.
NO TEARS MITCH OPEN TILL MIDNIGHT TONIGHT JUST FOR YOU BABE !!!SO GO GET SOME !!! I JUST DID HUGE LINE BUT THEY WORK FAST !!! Sorry about the caps / not screaming at you BabyDoll ...
It's all good! While known for their crazier concoctions, I think they have one of the best buttermilk bars around.
MAPLE-BACON!!!!!! Cash only, but there is an ATM located on the street side inside of the building
don't be in a hurry there might be a long line and make sure you have cash. cash only spot
Cookie N' Cream is my favorite. However, I don't think I have ate a Voodoo Doughnut that I didn't like.
Get the voodoo doll and old dirty bustard- so good. Memphis mafia is also a great choice!
Note: Three Dozen Limit. Also Memphis Mafia and ANY of the Fruit Flavor sprinkled donuts is just perfection.
Skip the other Voodoo Doughnut location and come to this one. Same doughnuts, but no annoyingly long line.
It's not worth it to me just to have a gimmicky donut. If taste matters to you, go to Blue Star or Pip's instead.
The atmosphere, the anxiety to get to the front of the line, and the smell. Expect about 15/20 minute wait.
Great for visiting guests. Less wait time here than at the downtown voodoo. Diablos Rex!
long lines late at night, heck long lines all day long, but at least with that amount of turn over, you know your donut is super fresh
This is about the point that I realized Portland is the vegan capital of the country. The Bay Area has nothing on this.
This place is amazing! I have never been to a place like this before! I can't wait to go back!
It was only a matter of time before Voodoo stretched eastward from their original downtown location. Expect the same "Magic" with seating for the whole crew!
I don't even like donuts, and I found the Mango Tango mouthgasmic. Licking the Tang off my lips after each bite was asdfskljdf
