The quieter of the two Voodoo Doughnut stores, but still comes with the same rockabilly vibe. Get your "Big Black Cock and Balls" to experience your body going into bliss, then violent revolt.

What isn't good here? I tried the cotton candy one and it was amazing. They have a great sense of humor when naming the donuts.

Dirty Old Doughnut, Oreo, Chocolate and Peanut Butter Goodness. Mmm... Neapolitan is pretty good. The blueberry is not so good. Pretty much a donut shaped blueberry muffin with glaze. Awesome donuts!

Starting think no matter what time of any day...there is a line 20 deep...but at least you can smell the sweet sweet smell of donuts while you wait. . And bring cash! Cash only!

Portland cream, raspberry filled, and the cock-and-balls are must try's at this location. The doughnuts are nothing special, but the nostalgia makes it worth the wait.

What's not to love about a slightly quieter version of the PDX staple? The less time I have to wait for a bacon maple bar, the better.

Try the mango tango, however the " old dirty bass" is the absolute best! Remember cash only. Be prepared to wait in line, the counter people are efficient and nice

You can not get donuts like these anywhere except voodoo. If you come to Portland make sure to wait in line and get some! (Make sure you have cash)

I named my voodoo doughnut "Mr Good Man" (much sweeter than original) Mom and I delighted ourselves greatly tearing it apart. Raspberry jelly filling: brilliant touch!

Voodoo dozen is a way to go so you can sample a bunch (just disappointed today I asked for no spices since I'm allergic and she gave me the only one with cayenne pepper on...)

You have to try the Mango Tango at least once. A glazed, mango filled doughnut with tang sprinkled on top. Best doughnut ever.

The line can be long, but I'd suggest getting a look at the doughnuts before you get in line so you know what you'd like!

I have to say, the original location is much better. Everytime I go to this one the doughnuts are NEVER fresh. It's always empty though so there's no line which is REALLY awesome.

So much easier to get in and out of this location than the other one that is downtown. Super friendly help at the register!

The maple bacon doughnut is oh so bad, but oh so good! This location also has a much shorter line than the one in Downtown.

If you die while eating a doughnut here, will they just put you in the coffin in the eating area? Seems like a pretty good way to go!

Get the glazed donut as big as your head with real bacon bits...crazy...maple...once in a lifetime at least gotta try it. Experience...
  • Kelly G.
A fun place to check out for your first visit to say you've been there, but over hyped. Personally I like Krispy Kreme better in terms of the quality of the donut itself.

Good doughnuts, especially if you like to leave the house wearing lululemon pants or khakis that turn to shirts with a zipper at the knee

A Portland staple. You haven't truly visited or lived in Portland until you've had a VooDoo doughnut. Personal favorite is the dirty old bastard.

It's all good! While known for their crazier concoctions, I think they have one of the best buttermilk bars around.

Less line than downtown, but less atmosphere, too. At night a combination of elderly and high schoolers.
  • Alaa S.
Skip the original location. This one has parking. shorter lines, an ATM machine inside & the same tasty stuff. Seems like a no-brainer to me.

A maple bar w/piece or 2 of bacon on top=not special. Hoping 4 little more like bacon in donut batter? Think normal donut w frosting dunkd in cereals/cookies/candies. Not bad, just meh. WAY overhyped.

Donuts seem a bit stale all the time, but whatever -- it's kitsch. ODB for the win, and bring cash. Kenny Rodgers hates your credit cards.
