Go for the Vue Xtreme screenings if you can: much larger theatres than the standard small halls. No wifi, usually bad reception inside which can be a boon and a curse.

    Ankur Banerjee · October 2
  • Dinos G.

Bloody expensive. The price of popcorn etc is just ridiculous:(

    Dinos GV · May 31
  • Jordi L.

Nice cinema. Big, good movies, the people are nice, and there is a guy during the film to sell you some snaks!! LOL!

    Jordi Llobet · February 10
  • Johannes D.

Fill up on snacks from the Waitrose outside ;)

With 9£ student's price, I ll come back in about... NEVER!

Local cinema for North Londoners, in the N1 Islington Shopping Centre, a few minutes walk from Angel Station. Plenty of cubicles for the Ladies in the large foyer.

    Mei Suen · December 14, 2014
  • Enzo M.

Not one of the most pleasant cinemas ever

    Enzo Martinelli · December 9, 2014

Lots of late night movies, love the Vue extreme room. Shopping area downstairs, Sainsbury nearby (better get popcorn and drinks from here)

    Vivian · December 5, 2014
  • Justine A.

Really comfortable cinema seating. Pay the extra bit for the more spacious seats and you'll feel like you're watching a movie at home!

    Justine Arreche · December 3, 2014
  • Robin Š.

    VIP seats are excellent

    Robin Šmíd · December 2, 2014

I always go mid-week and it's a pretty pleasant experience. The seats are comfy and the screen and sound quality is excellent. A little overpriced but then so is everywhere in London.

    Bobby · November 16, 2014
  • Juha R.

Big cinema in the heart of Angel

    Juha Ristolainen · September 9, 2014
  • Pedro C.

Comfortable seating. Everything is overpriced as you might expect in a London chain cinema. Something feels weird in the screen 10, thought.

    Pedro Cambra · August 29, 2014
  • Callum W.

Don't get a drink or snacks here as super expensive. Just go across the road to Sainsbury.

    Callum Watt · June 5, 2014

If you find ceiling's lights annoying while watching a movie, ♥ this tip.

    Fry · May 18, 2014
  • Bradley W.

They will rip you a second asshole at the snack counter. Picturehouse cinemas are much better.

    Bradley Wood · February 22, 2014
  • Toby H.

Screen 10 seems tiny from the seating plan, but it's actually a reasonable size for a small screen and the seats are excellent.

    Toby Hammans · July 17, 2013
  • Toby D.

Dropped in spur of the moment to watch something random. £15 a ticket?!?!?!! Sorry vue, way way too much. You just lost a customer.

    Toby Deveson · June 12, 2013
  • Jason-Gabriel L.

I've realised after coming for year that this cinema is actually awful! The service is awful, they don't take American Express and the toilets are disgusting...definitely go elsewhere if you can.

    Jason-Gabriel Lowdon · January 4, 2013
  • John S.

Avoid Skyfall. Overrated. Go see Rust and Bone and or Argo instead.

Worth the £2 for VIP seat

    Jon Chan · October 8, 2012
  • @JoshiSidhu S.

This is the worst cinema by far! The manager doesn't know how to manage. The screens are not supervised. The lights remain on during the film. It's best to watch a film in your living room.

    @JoshiSidhu · September 6, 2012
  • Andrew S.

Soulless and I'd rather be at Screen on the Green but good quality screens

    Andrew Smallwood · August 7, 2012

Avoid the expensive car park and park in Zone B for free after 1330 on Saturdays

    Mustafa Faruqi · November 28, 2010

Rubbish cinema! Non-working ticket machines, queueing everywhere for everything, bad loos, go somewhere else if you can!

    Stephen Spencer · October 17, 2010

Avoid the expensive snack counter and get a hot dog for a third of the price from the vendor outside. Or, better yet, go to a better cinema and eat real food.

    Londonist · October 17, 2010
  • Jack B.

When buying popcorn, get the £2 Kids meal... Decent popcorn amount, a drink AND Haribo! Which would otherwise set you back £10... Theres no sharing though which is kinda a bummer

    Jack Bruce · September 11, 2010
  • Herr W.

    Watch the expendables!

Don't go, is very bad cinema: can hear blow dryer from toilet during movie, brightness of movie changed multiple times, didn't fully turn the lights off!
