    Probably my favorite hotel bar in the city. The bar tops alternate in different colors. They have an extended and adventurous cocktail list with lots of original martinis to choose from. Plays lounge

    If you're stuck downtown between meetings, the free Wifi in the lobby of the W is always helpful. They've got power outlets, too. Order a drink for the guilt.

    For a W, the rooms are not that great. I have stayed in W Boston, LA and Miami and this one is definitely the least preferred in terms of rooms. But the service is spectacular

    Ask for a Bay Bridge view room, so you can look at the Bridge and spy into the Blue Bottle coffee shop at the MoMa, which is a great place to go for an afternoon meeting on a sunny day.
