Welcome to W, a Washington D.C. hotel beyond expectations. Next to the White House, the most powerful suits - pinstripes and black lace-rendezvous at W Washington D.C., where Italian Renaissance meets modern cool.
Check out the Rooftop Bar. Amazing view of the skyline and White House. Drink selection is OK, but the atmosphere is chic and mucho swank-a-licious! Business types of all kinds come here to unwind!
Best view of the city.
Hanging with friends at The W. Great view of the White House & Monument.
With a sceney rooftop lounge overlooking the White House, the W brand managed to inject nightclub-meets-Wonderland flair into what had been a lackluster hotel.
Leave before midnight... it gets ugly after that.
Free public bathrooms here. Just look confident, not too touristy, and don't ask where the free public bathrooms are.
POV St Germain cocktail
Outstanding view from the bar. Expensive but delicious and heavily poured dark & stromies once you get up there.
Go to the rooftop bar. Reward yourself with a glass of champagne.
The glass showers are hot! Love all the welcome agents in the lobby greeting me.
Amazing service, beautiful rooms & hip rooftop bar! A must stay if you're in need of a room for the night
If you're hungry in the middle of the night, you can grab a quick bite at the Hamilton across the street
Amazing views from the rooftop bar. Worth the elevator ride!
Great space, annoying tourists, expensive drinks.
Horrendous service at this hotel. The rooftop is overrated. The gym stinks. The wifi in both: rooms and common areas is abysmal. The cider in the lobby is soothing, however
Right in the heart of some of the best sight seeing in DC - literally across the street from White House!
rooms = cozy-cozy. Bliss products everywhere. fast wireless. great service at this hotel—except for in the restaurants (food's good, tho).
To get in the door, say you only want to get to the lobby bar. Then get yourself a drink, enjoy the music and wait in the line to go up to the POV lounge. (The view is amazing!)
Free bottled water can be located in the gym.
Be here on Thursday! Always a great time (assuming you can get up to the lounges)!
The view from the suites are amazing. In the heart of DC
The rooms are small but the service is more than adequate and the rooftop offers a really cool view of DC and northern Virginia
The spot where we photographed are Winter 2012 lookbook, act like you know!
Here's a tip for the hotel. Clean the rooms daily. They made the bed but left crumbs and empty bottles and water
Bathrooms are located on the lower level. Good place to stop if you're sightseeing and need a place to rest.
The rooftop bar is amazing.
Great views of the monument and surrounding areas!
The brunch is really good here.
Per the manager "you cannot use the stairs". Elevators hold 5 people. Be prepared to wait a long time!
If only the service matched the beautiful property. I can't decide if the staff is clueless, indifferent, or both
*insert young money lyrics here*
Stay a night and they give you free drink tickets to the rooftop lounge, POV. The view up there is amazing!
Architecture firm BBG-BBGM renovated this historic hotel and turned it into the area's first W Hotel. The firm's design earned AIA DC's Merit Award in Historic Resources in 2011.
St Hilare for champagne lovers
The turkey pardoned by Obama in 2010 spent the night here the night before the annual Thanksgiving ceremony (via @staciaCNN)
B fashion 4ward & confident! Get past the elevator nazis w ipads 2 the "always booked" POV. Don't b pressured by pushy waiters. Not 4 over-priced drinks. Get YOUR seat & soak in unparalleled views.
Don't buy drinks at the bar.
The Marvelous Suite will not disappoint and the rooftop bar has spectacular views.
Not a fan. Specify you don't want a room looking out onto another brick building. Our room looked like a sex den in the worst way, bed backlit in red light, the bathroom was bigger than the room.
JG is a Jean George restaurant. Very good burger.
Horrid if staying here as a guest. The rooms are nice but the hotel customer service is dreadful, they charge you for everylast thing and they failed misserably in making the guest feel special.
This is swanky stuff. Dress properly if you plan on going to the rooftop! They kick out flip flop wearers.
If you like a quiet room ask for the "42" series. Bigger baths and rooms, no view but super quiet and roomy.
Beautiful place and great for a date
Visit Clay at the rooftop bar. He's amazing! Visit is in nyc clay!! Starwood! Woot!
