Always great, everything is good and the place is so cozy. Your date will love it!

Wallflower is a tiny French bistro fronted by a cocktail bar. Garnished with streaks of Angostura, curling citrus peels or thick layers of foam, the drinks are all miniature works of art. Read more

New brunch menu. Lobster & grits 👌. Savory morning bun. Good drinks to boot. It's a neighborhood gem for good reason.

  • Neil C.

A limited menu but everything on it is fantastic. Go for the pork belly.

For spicy cocktails, Shush >> Cornelia. Scallops are excellent and I don't even like scallops. Skip the tuna tartare: too much sesame oil.

Get your girl or boy, start with a cocktail, advance to a bottle of wine and be happy... You're in one of these little spots that made you be in love with the village.

The Stockholm syndrome cocktail is amazing - citrusy, not sweet, kind of savory. The waitress called it funky lemonade

Hidden gem. One of my favorite cocktail bars in West Village. Delicious seasonal french plates available. Cozy, intimate, chic. Recommend for dates or catching up with a friend.

Came for my boyfriend's bday, one of my favorite meals in the city. Splurge for the tasting menu, so worth it! Favorites include snapper crudo and the cod.

Really amazing cocktails. Love the cozy space, great for dates. Food options were limited, tasty but not amazing. Disappointed with the bouillabaisse (see photo). Service was attentive.

So happy to find this gem! The cocktails are perfectly balanced. Ask the bartender to surprise you with an off the menu drink. Have to come back for the food.

Small spot with an even tinier kitchen. Make reservations for dinner or hope to get lucky for one of the four seats at the bar. Get the New Fashioned cocktail (includes maple syrup).

Xavier is a gem. Ask him for a cocktail reco and you can't go wrong. Do the prix fixe and you'll be stuffed. Don't miss the barley risotto, which is much lighter than a normal risotto. Sit outside.

Tapas. The mixologist made me one of the best drinks EVER here. I have no idea what it was, but it was spicy and incredible. Small spot, will be more difficult with large groups.

If you're having dinner, the lobster dish is great. Get a chèvre course to start and a taste from the raw bar. The waiters had good recs so I'd recommend enlisting their help too.
