    Concerts are beautiful, so is the building. Leave earlier than you think you need to because of DTLA traffic. Ask for directions inside, it's easy to get lost. NO late seating!

    Though the stage and concert hall itself are usually off limits to even paid tours (due to rehearsals), the public spaces of the interior and the garden are still quite spectacular to explore.

    Season passes are the way to go. Fantastic acoustics and a world class orchestra with the redoubtable Gustavo Dudamel conducting-the entire season is a joy.

    Nice architecture both inside and outside. Be warned the acoustics are great here so don't wear loud shoes or you'll annoy those around you.

    Designed by Geary, this very unique building is home to the Los Angeles philharmonic orchestra. You can walk around the building but you don't be allowed inside unfortunately.

    Avoid parking in the garage unless you enjoy sitting inside for 45 minutes after the concert ends. It's worse than Dodger Stadium for parking woes!

    The sound leaves a lot to be desired for bands if you're not in the pit or lower front garden seating. Bands should bring their own sound system to properly electrify the place.
