People tend to check in during these times:
Explore Warwick Castle, where you'll be surrounded by jaw-dropping history, magic, myth and adventure!
Don't eat here
Stunning stereotypical castle. Loads of family fun.
One of the best restored castles in the country. Watch out for the peacocks!
If you get up to the top, there's a good view of the surroundings and faraway buildings.
What a castle should be like with A moat and imposing walls. The shows of jousting archery and the trebuchet are excellent
Lot of History and British culture, beautiful castle but expensive I would say :/
Dungeon tour was a good scary start but we were disappointed that castle is a commercial kids theme park rather than historic monument. National Trust it ain't!
the wax figures are so real xx
Perfect place to stay during all day long. History <3
Don't go to cafeteria place. £24 for two including bad coffee, and only pizza and pasta available
Buy tickets online and print at home; you get a discount, and skip the enormous queue.
Lots of period demonstrations and Horrible Histories camps to visit
Warwick is a beautiful castle, always worth a visit at the height of summer when the jousting is on. It's not cheap but 2 for 1 deals are usually easy to find
So much to see for all ages!
Great day out in the summer
Not very wheelchair friendly. Almost all the buildings inaccessible. Even the one that is, is not accessible if busy due to fire regulations.
Don't forget to check out the dungeon ,)
The Castle Dungeon is a must!
Don't bother with the Merlin Tower. Costs more and all they want to do is sell you a photo. Takes less than 15 mins including saying no to £12 photo.
Amazing experiences and tours!!!
The annual pass is definitely worth the money as you get your ticket refunded plus free 4 tickets per person when you buy the pass!
Beautiful castle, have food at Ask nearby.
Get to know all the castle!!!
Dungeon tour in a work group was a great laugh so get your mates dress up and enjoy
Wax figures, a torture dungeon, and no fewer than three ghosts in residence make this castle one of England’s creepiest. – Green Guide Editor
You should go in the castle dungeon tour
Quite a lot to see. Come early.
Dragon show is rubbish but the eagle and vulture feeding show (birds of prey) was just brilliant! Making picnic while watching the tribuchet show is also recommended ;)
Park in the town and walk in, save yourself £6.
Love the 5 Horrible Histories shows within the castle grounds
Don't want to pay the expensive entry fee? Head round the back to The Mill Garden for a fantastic view for only £2
Blues captain Paul Robinson recommends this venue: 'I live locally and Warwick Castle is fantastic for taking your kids along to. There's always plenty of entertainment to keep them busy.'
main car park is 20min from gates! be prepared to wait a long while for tickets. grab a refreshment in the courtyard in the meantime.
If you have English Heritage membership you get 50% off entry. Be warned parking costs £6 and is 15-20 min walk from castle.
The Birds of Prey show - amazing! The bowman show - spectacular!
Pretty grounds as well!
Visit the bowman for archery, history, and great entertainment
Very expensive - and you only find out once you're in the complex that parking is an extra £6 (to park nearly a mile away).
If you get in after 3:30 pm you get in half price and can come back the next day for £1
Fabulous place!! It was definitely my favorite part of living in Leamington Spa. It was only a five minute drive for our place! If you have kids, they'll LOVE it.
The Merlin Show has got to be the worse place to blow your money. DO NOT GO TO IT!!!! Buy something for your family or friends instead!!!!
Ghost Tower of Warwick Castlehttp://great-castles.com/warwickghost.phpGhost caught on camera at Warwick Castle http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=FGG0gKeFDNA&desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DFGG0gKeFDNA&gl=JP
Be sure not to miss the birds of prey show - amazing to see a huge eagle soaring and swooping as well as a big owl and some vultures. Don't miss the tower and ramparts. It is hard work but great views
Very expensive. Make sure to bring your food and drinks. OMG we just paid £50 to get in and now they want £6 for parking. What a joke.
Bring your own lunch - food is massively expensive!
Make sure you get a 2-4-1 voucher before going (or book at least week in advance). £6 car park fee can probably be reduced with research into town centre parking too
If you book online you could get upto 40 pct discount on tickets, but you need to do it about a wk ahead of time.
