The neighborhood with everything...love living here!
Learn Spanish and Don't Think Just Cuz They Speak Spanish They're Puerto Rican...They're Actually Dominican! =)
Love this area but beware ladies the men act like horny dogs!
It's not as scary as some make it out to be. Lots of good Dominican food.
Parking sucks ass!
Crazy drivers watch out for them
Like any NYC neighborhood it has posh and not spots! I love Fort Tryon Park and Bangkok Heights Thai Restaurant.
One of the last real "neighborhoods" left in Manhattan. Historical districts, beautiful parks, and excellent Dominican (and non) food.
Its an great neighborhood, check out the shops along broadway and st. Nicks or chill at any of the very few parks.
Get the roast chicken from el malecon. You won't be disappointed.
Visit the Little DR along St. Nicholas. It's AWESOME!
Loving the neighborhood
Come on up, kick your shoes off at the door, grab a drink, and settle in for a nice, relaxing evening. It's great here!
If you here the term Hudson Heights, smack the person hard. The Dominican peeps consider this their own. It is part of Historic Harlem Heights, and is worth the explore. lots of hills, so wear sneaks.
Visit the New Yang Fam Restaurant on Saint Nicholas Avenue at West 155 Street. Their general TSO chicken with fried rice on special from twelve PM to six PM is off the chain.
Beautiful run down the Hudson
New York! New York!
I Love The Heights. Every Highway Is Over Hear. Westside Highway Fdr (Aka) Harlem River Drive. Stores Stay Open. There Is Great Food. Cheap Liquor Stores & Sexy Men. I Met 2 Of My Ex's Up Hear JS & CW
I don't like it. It's boring
Go to the 174th Street Shell Gas Station for the delicious Nemos! Ask for Flex and tell him Fior sent you!
Just because you are hispanic doesn't mean you are a Dominican or 'Rican. Cubans have a significant population here as well.
Rainy days in the heights are very peaceful
The music in the streets, the people yelling furiously in Spanish, the car accidents, the traffic, the bosegas. Yuo, nyc, I dig it.
The heights has great views of jersey great bar's also great food there is mexican & asian but nothing beat's the dominican food in the heights & liquor stores hear are cheaper then anyother borough
don't believe the mtv show.
Go under the GW bridge during nice weather
The Heights: where the pedestrians don't regard there own lives......so why the frig should I??
Great Dominican food and nightclubs.
Try the mangu
The steak (given it's not burned) is delicious
I know, I'm just the Mayor. Also, it's spelled WASHINGTON
It's spelled HEIGHTS.
Plenty of hot sexy gurls
To my fellow white guys, if you love Dominican women ..grab a milk crate and just chill on 181 and Saint Nicolas. You won't be disappointed.
Best spot to get habichuela con dulce. Cant beat it!
Not bad at all
Hard to find parking!
Back to the grind!
The cops need to stop taking all the f'n parking and on 180th cause that shit is way too inconvenient for me and others.
Great chimis up here
Try the great restaurants in the neighborhood!
Lunch (basil chicken penne) was good..., waitress (jennifer) not so much. :-/
Hilly, peaceful neighborhood north of Harlem and south of Inwood. The longest step street in NYC connects Fort Washington Ave and Overlook Terrace at 187 Street.
Nutcrackers are off the chain
Best braids in town!
Be friendly. Everyone here is warm and loving if you show them respect.
Check out the venters near by they always sale the coolest and cheapest accessories!
