The #6 wontons in hot oil are just as good as everyone says. The place itself is tiny and super cute. We went on a rainy Sunday a little before noon and it was just us (and our wontons.)

$5 spicy wontons. You can't go wrong. A great spot for a cheap and cheerful quick meal. Be aware that there is not much seating so I would avoid lunch time if you plan on staying to eat.

It doesn't matter what your order, you're getting wontons with hot sauce and cabbage dumplings. No seriously that what they will serve you. This is actually great news for you! Enjoy.

You go here for one thing: pork wontons in hot oil (no. 6). The thin wonton skins hold a delicate filling; mild chili oil and preserved vegetable topping make this one of the best dumplings in NYC.

Dan Dan Noodles ($4.50) is another favorite on the menu. The noodles are springy, chewy to the verge of crisp blend in braised chili spiced pork bits with cucumbers and bean sprouts to quell the heat. Read more

Get the #6 wonton with hot sauce (no soup for you)! It's actually very mild so don't worry. Packed with so much great flavor! #nom #flushing #NYC

Dumplings w/ their hot sauce is delicious. Cooked to order. Looks plain, but the sauce makes it so good. You can buy frozen ones to make at home too, but it doesn't come with their sauce.

They ran out of wontons so we got #17 (pork+chili oil noodles). Love the sauce. Don't worry if you can't read the menu-- just pick a random number. Everything is good.

Hole in the wall, right in the middle of a very Chinese community. Not sure if this is the best Chinese dumplings one can get in New York but I have had better in Asia. Better than nothing i guess.

Don't be alarmed if the awning says something about a Travel Agency or Ice Cream! It's a dumpling and wonton hole in the wall. Get a dozen meaty, juicy wontons with hot sauce, scallions, etc. on top.

If they didn't have the best wontons ever, I would just stop coming here because they're mean. Good luck if you can't speak Chinese!!! I actually can speak but they're still rude.

We all know about the dumplings so I won't mention them (oh, the irony!). Do not sleep on the noodles. Order a #17 to taste what I'm talking about.

#6, as per the recommendations of previous reviewers -- so glad I tried it! The 'hot sauce' is more like a mild/medium spicy chilli oil.
