This is another British spot in NYC. The bar's gin selection is huge, but I usually come here for the atmosphere and the delicious food menu.
Go with a friend who can't finish their striped bass dish. Pair it with your seared scallops.
Wine, cocktails and easy-to-share food. Plus there's outdoor seating!
Their cocktails are always great and their pork chop is amazing if you're staying for dinner.
Can't go wrong with a whiskey sour.
Hamburger - minus the bun = gluten free and FRICKIN DELICIOUS!
The shrimp toast and burger were surprisingly really good! I had come just for drinks (both no. 14 and my gin and tonic were too sweet imo) but the food made up for it.
Rotating fish or steak dishes usually win. Drink anything Jackson pours.
Grab a seat next to the the entrance for great (drunken) people watching. More than decent Manhattans.
Gin cocktails are the first choice, but the food is good as well. The place is very loud, keep that in mind if you're here for quiet conversation.
The earl grey infused drink is the best
Get a fun based cocktail. Menu is surprisingly good as well.
Great drinks. Great staff.
They have a stellar cocktail menu ;)
Solid selection and quality of cocktails, nice vibe and seating around bar tables or at the bar. Bartender was kind enough to go off-menu when we ordered some traditional cocktails
Full English Breakfast! Also, the baked good specials.
The ground brisket burger is a stacked (and messy) sandwich -- lettuce, slice of beet & fried egg in addition to a thick patty. Keeping it all between the buns is a feat I failed to accomplish.
Great food and beer. Amazing scallops with risotto
Pickled beetroot? Weak heart? BEST BURGER!
Great bar, nice place. Beef tikka is boss.
Adorable spot with great Christmas decor. Try the Moscow mule!
Great food options and some decent cocktails. I force myself to try new drinks, but always end up going back to the one that's a bit of a variation to an old fashion
If you want to go to a convenient and competent place in west village, look no further. Brunch is great (avocado toast or the burger). Dinner is also outstanding - the chicken is better than Barbuto
Don't forget the specials board - there's frequently a classic pie option which is not to be missed!
Awesome cocktails, cool decor
The No. 14 for fall '14 is amazing. Vanilla infused Four Roses bourbon and Brovo chocolate Amaro, what more can you ask for?
The food is delicious and big enough to share. Cocktails are great too.
Great burger & fries.
#3 on TimeOut's best burger list
Mushy Peas are everything honeyz #yum
Perfect for a romantic date filled with killer specialty cocktails.
Very nice people, the food is great, the bathroom is cool, the place is cozy. Mirror mirror on the wall, you know I'll go back to Whitehall.
Avoid the burger. $19 mess. So not up to par with other burgers in the area.
Mon - Wed, 5:30 - 8pm, $1 oysters at the bar
Mr. Porter brought me here, excellent food and great service, owner and staff friendly.
Avocado poached egg toast for brunch. The best!
the best dessert we've had in a long time!! make sure to leave some room for the sticky pecan bread pudding, the apple pie and the banana pudding. they are not that big so get them all!
ask for the burger even if you don't see it on the menu
Some of the best cocktails in Manhattan. Anything made with gin is a go-to drink. Try the No 4, especially if you don't like gin.
The brussels sprouts (when in season) are a must have.
No. 11. Vanilla-infused bourbon, lemon, mint. Simple, perfect.
Our favorite place in the West Village for gourmet English comfort food. The cocktails are great, particularly if you're a gin-lover.
You might think gin and black pepper don't go together, but you'd be terribly, terribly wrong.
Really great date spot! The gin cocktails are super creative and the London vibe makes it super sweet on an overcast day. https://www.facebook.com/BonfireApp
Some of the best bartenders in the city. Period.
