    The pieces in this museum make you think. Unlike some other modern art museums which aren't as thought provoking. Free on Friday nights. Low key some of the best views of NYC

    Great view. Don't understand why many like the building itself though. Their setup of Calder's Hypermobility was terrible (especially compared to how Tate did it) + arrogant service in the cafe.

    The Whitney Museum is a true sensory indoor-outdoor experience, so make sure to visit the outdoor terraces on the upper floors of the building, you will have a spectacular panoramic view of the city.

    Best museum in Manhattan. Gorgeous new building holds thoughtfully curated, human scale exhibits on modern artists working in our time. Special amazing place. Take a little time to enjoy the view too

    the theoretical porousness of the space with regard to the environment outside isn't just a bunch of hot air--that's a unique experience. jump on the high line or get a blue bottle coffee afterwards

    Good museum, especially if contemporary art is your thing. But NYC has better museums that are worthy of days of exploration. Some good exhibitions, and beautiful views of the Hudson from the roof.

    Try the carrot cake in the cafe - it looks as if it's part of the museum exhibit. And the view from there is one of the best in NY.
