Whole Foods Market is the world's largest natural and organic grocer. Find one near you, check in, and say hello!
Great selection of organic products and great selection of sugar derivatives for people with diabetes. I did a dinner and made desserts using Stevia. -Ed Cotton, Top Chef
Beer, glorious beer tastings! See what's on tap and take home your own growler.
If you're upstairs for lunch/dinner, as glamorous as the sushi conveyer belt looks, I'd skip it. Salad or pasta is the way to go!
Check out the Beer Room at the corner of Houston and Chrystie. In addition to six beers on tap for growler fills, there's a huge bottle selection and homebrewing supplies.
Great layout at this Whole Foods, and our favorite grocery in the area. The eating area on the second floor is a good place to relax as well.
much less crowded than the one in union square.
Want overpriced food please go here
Did you know WF sells pizza dough? Grab a ball and give this homemade Skillet Pizza a try. The easiest way to achieve a perfect charred crust at home! Get the recipe on kitchenkonfidence.com.
the half portion of the salads is totally enough, and an amazing bargain
Go to Whole Foods - LES and look at their beer shop on Houston and chrystie. 12pack of PBR = $12. score!
This Whole Foods is the least exclusive place you can go to have a reliably awesome celebrity sighting. Tracy Morgan, Agyness Deyn, Mos Def, etc. (Plus, salad bar is great for hiding behind!)
Bathrooms upstairs, all the way in the back of the food court.
Upstairs salad bar is better and cheaper than the one downstairs!
Go to the upstairs salad bar - $4 for a half (made to order), and totally enough food!!
Check out the new homebrewing supply section!
Kombucha on tap:-)
Try the raspberry jam and spot it on Foodspotting!
It's a ghosttown compared to Union Sq. Very good beer selection
Pro tip: get a half salad on the second floor. Huge, fresh, tasty and wildly inexpensive. I'd venture to say its the best salad value in the city!
Can't say enough about Whole Foods, but Whole Foods Bowery just got better because guess what... now they carry BluePrintJuice. Get 'em while they're hot (we mean cold)!
Fully stocked with all of siggi yogurt flavors
One of the better food bars of the NYC whole foods. Sushi and dim sum on second floor
Take a cooking class upstairs- Min is a total sweetheart and knows her stuff!
Try the Rice & Miso outpost upstairs!
Having a salad bar dinner.
ARE YOU GUYS GOING TO THE NEW JAMBA JUICE UPSTAIRS?
Express checkout is hardly ever faster than regular checkout. Don't be fooled!
Avoid the pre-made food section unless you want to pay by the pound.
The handicap toilet in the men's room has a deceptive lock. Avoid getting walked in on. However, this will certainly teach you a lesson to not use the handicap toilet.
Want a good salad? Skip the salad bar, go upstairs and get one made for you. More toppings, same cost, no elbowing.
Post gym time @ the salad bar has got to be the best place in lower manhattan to pick up hot single chicks
If you're trying to catch a cab, cross the street or try to nab one off of Bowery. It's almost impossible to catch one directly out front. Good luck!
Relax and be glad you're not at the Union Square location. Don't buy any of the pre-marinated fish (made me sick) or the crab legs (past their prime).
The ten items or more line is WAY faster than the express line. PBR in the beer room is the best deal in the hood for cans: 12 for $8. Take that, you hipster "whole paycheck" haters!
Restroom code: 83695
Burger and fries for $6 is their best kept secret
Grab a snack for line. It is never a shot wait. GRAZE FOR DAYZ
Like vegetables? Americans eat around 280 lbs of them per person each year. Brits each much less, around 200 lbs of them per person/year.
Purposely fall down then sue the store
Check out the great selection of Eco friendly Mighty Wallets, fantastic vegan make-up by PeaceKeeper Cause-metics
Sit upstairs and have a meal with a view.
Shop for groceries here.
Head to the dairy aisle to stock up on Chobani. They've got a great variety of flavors!
Way less crowded then USQ & Chelsea WF. Whole foods rocks the casbah. I wish i could live inside it.
check what they have on their weekly sales flyer! usually some good stuff. everyday staples - chicken stock, organic milk are surprisingly cheap
go here more often
Great cooking classes at reasonable prices. Highly recommend!
