Founded in 1978 in Austin, Texas, Whole Foods Market (wholefoodsmarket.com) is the leading retailer of natural and organic foods, the first national “Certified Organic” grocer, and uniquely positioned as America’s Healthiest Grocery Store™.
It has everything. And is rarely crowded.
Typical whole foods but way better than 14th street. Love the "hanging" area upstairs.
Almost always long lines. Everything is very fresh.
It is a good spot if you live in this area to go to and get fresh food. I would recommend this one.
Huge selection of organic foods. Shop their 365 line to save money.
Seeduction bread loaf is an integral part of my life.
Hectic vibes. Checkout folks are less than courteous.
They have an amazing beer room with a great selection of bottles.
I got a dozen organic eggs on sale for $84.
They always have super delicious blackberries—and they're cheaper than at Key Food!
Much less crowded than other Whole Foods in NYC. Large upstairs area to enjoy a snack or a smoothie. Also, dessert bar by the pound 😻
Loved the store. Lines afternoon are terrible.
Classic Whole Foods. Great upstairs seating with a Jamba Juice.
Check out the great stand alone craft beer store on the corner of Houston
At it's most crowded, it's a nightmare. But love the upstairs food court. Prepared foods always excellent. I'm hoping they no longer cheat on their scales.
Great whole foods but very confusing layout
Go upstairs to the salad bar
Somewhat surprisingly, Whole Foods is actually one of the cheaper grocery stores in the city (just avoid the $4 water)
Always go mid-morning in the week. Very quiet!
Fresh and high quality food, but notoriously priced accordingly
Bathroom is upstairs and requires a code
On the eastern corner of Whole Foods is a separate beer shop, with a large selection of import and craft beer. BYO growler to bring local draft beer back home, or just pick up a sixer of your choice.
Salads upstairs are a good bang for your buck

One of the more spacious WF in New York City, it features all the usual goodies plus the highlights of an extensive pickle and craft beer section
Best supermarket in the world!
Fresh and delicious
burger bar in ground floor near prepared foods is excellent and a great value ($8!)
Great place to kill time. There's lots of seating upstairs.
Don't be intimidated by the lines-- they move faster than they look!
Plenty of fresh, organic produce
So expensive, but worth it. Always fresh. Love the almond butter (grind it yo'self, foo)!
Favorite whole foods in Manhattan
Check out upstairs to skip the long lines on the first level.
The produce selection is lacking compared to other markets
Love the salad bar. Careful, though - go there hungry and you'll leave with a 1.8 pound $20 salad
Indian food is pretty good here, but my favorite is the chocolate cookie clusters!
Line moves quickly for lunch. 2 for $6 is a great steal
Best engagement ring spotting in all of Lower Manhattan
All the premade dishes for quick lunch or dinner! Sinful mac and cheese, tamales, Sanoma chicken salad, fresh fruits, etc. Green beans are a bit greasy lol
It looks like a hipster threw up on the soups. They look disgusting. And there's only vegan cookies, no croissants?
Bathroom code is currently 54365. Second floor, on the Chrystie St side.
Upstairs area is chill.
Closes at 11 pm every night. They also sell beer by the bottle near the checkout line.
It's wholefoods. The name says it all, really.
very nice selection of organic food. Get fresh meat/fish not pre-marinated.
EVERYTHING!! My go-to for veggies, fish, yogurt! Fresh produce and actually less expensive than the local Met supermarket. Go figure!!
