Founded in 1978 in Austin, Texas, Whole Foods Market (wholefoodsmarket.com) is the leading retailer of natural and organic foods, the first national “Certified Organic” grocer, and uniquely positioned as America’s Healthiest Grocery Store™.
Pastries are pretty dismal here. After Whole Foods at Foggy Bottom, with the inventive hot bar, pastries, bakery, and cafe, you see that this Whole Foods is just going through the motions.
Fish tacos on Thursdays for lunch--delightful!
The earlier the better
Street taco Thursday! Yaaaaaas! (Chicken, beef)
Very good wine and cheese selection, and of course fresh produce
Amazing place that I believe should be how all supermarkets must be presented and ran. Fresh everything!
This is my favorite produce section at a Whole Foods in NOVA but the parking is atrocious.
Good craft beer selection
Winesdays are awesome!!
$6 chicken breast and two side value meal is unbeatable!
Great hot lunch options and salad bar.
So crowded and tight. I hate the way Whole Foods caters to on-foot patronage rather than drivers.
Incredible product selection, fresh and organic produce, Braggs natural salad dressing, raw nuts and essential oils...perfect one stop while on the Dherbs.com FULL BODY CLEANSE.
Macaroons are scrumptious! Pistachio, Red Velvet, Pumpkin, Salted Caramel.
Wednesday's are winesdays. 5$ gets you five tastings, each paired with food. And a dope wine glass. Winner = you.
They offer the lowest price on Nature's Path cereals.
Didn't realize you get rewarded for coming... I'm never gonna forget to check-in👍
Get the chia in bulk
Insanely too crowded here. Rampantly full of children 7 PM Friday.
There is a pub in the back right corner!! Best place to grocery shop!!!
I'm probably late, but there's a bar in the middle of the store. Happy hour at Whole Foods!!
People here can't figure out how "one way" arrows work. Nor can they conceive that "stop" means that you should stop for turning traffic. Otherwise, great location!
Parking here f sucks
Bring your own bags to save $.05 per bag used.
The new touch-screen kiosks to order pizza are a great idea!!
Really good wine for less than $5/bottle is totally a thing.
My favorite place to shop!!!
On the weekends, try to get there between 9am and 10am when it's not as busy.
Get the hot and spicy dried kale (tucked away with dried fruit). Yumminess.
The Holland Pub: it's a bar in a grocery! Brilliant!
Get some booch.
They now fill growlers at the coffee/wine bar.
Pick up some Pilsner Urquell beer while you're here shopping. Nice and cold :)
Salina is the worst cashier/bagger ever.
This place is great except for the eternal wait at the deli counter.
Do not carry FreshSheets (as written in an article for the product)!
Whole Foods has a very nice menu for Thanksgiving, and at pretty reasonable prices.
Just opened new bar. Serving teas, coffees, beer and wine. On Wine Wednesdays they have $5 tastings and wine tours. Very crowded then.
Great place for lunch. Hot food and cold food is $7.99/lb. good place to bring kids and let them try a variety of foods.
If you have children, please leave their screaming, whining butts at home. No one wants to see how poor your parenting skills are.
They have a wine and beer tasting bar in the store! This is a must try when visiting!
Yelling "OMG IS THAT GLUTEN ON THE FLOOR" is a great way to clear the checkout lines. Dare you to try it. :-)
They have a really cool soap and bathroom products/fragrance section, along with a small jewelry/insense/craft section.
Port city beer in 6 packs
Dollar burger day. Today only
So for $5 every weds you can enjoy wine tastings & food pairings.
No WiFi or ramps this season, but has the best food bar of all the local WFs. Great olive bar too.
This place has the best fish in Alexandria. Hands down.
Don't forget your $5 gift card after your 10th visit!
