Great place for concerts. You can take your blankets because it's chilly at night.
Great venue. Every seat is a good one.
An excellent venue in Berkeley for concerts and graduation ceremonies
Great concert venue! Beautiful design.
One of my favorite places to see a concert. Sunset views of the Golden Gate, excellent sound.
If you want to get close to the stage, get here early. Otherwise, bring a blanket and kick back on the lawn with some wine.
Beautiful architecture and lots of seating. It's a small hike to get up here!
One of the best music venues in the bay... But bring a jacket if Karl is around!
Enchanting venue for live music. Lovely scenery and great sound quality.
Bring something to sit on, both for the sake of your butt bones and to insulate against the cold stone seats.
not a good place to check out EDM shows. their sound system is woefully inadequate. great visibility of the stage from almost anywhere in the venue though.
Problem: sore butt and chilly outdoor ocean air. Solution: Dancing.
Bring blankets or cushioned seats. The place is great but it does hurt after a while. Arrive early and bring shades and sunscreen. Enjoy it!
Show #98 #DMB
Make a day of it, great lunch spots all over, warehouse club get 1st dibs but we still got good seats arriving at 4pm
Amazing sound quality.
The lawn seats have an awesome view! One of those venues where every seat has a good view really.
Perfect size and very chill.
If you have lawn tickets, don't bring blankets with a plastic back, they'll just slide off!
Berkeley Campus East
Bring warm clothing for an evening show and something comfortable to sit on, if you're sitting on the concrete steps.
Arrive early, bring something soft to sit on. This is more important than you would imagine.
Bring a stadium seat. This crap's uncomfortable.
If you have a crazy creek, bring it. Your back will thank you. Or sit in the back row so you can lean against the wall.
Get here early or else be prepared to leave with a sore ass and rocks in your underwear.
Come an hour early for good seats. Parking is horrendous.
Bring cash if you don't want to wait in line forever
Be sure to bring a cushion for your tush - the concrete is hard!! And a blanket for when the sun goes down.
The lawn is more comfy than the concrete seats. And you get an awesome view.
Show up early if you're hoping to get a centrally located seat. Bring a jacket and something soft to sit on, the concrete hurts your butt after a while.
Bring a blanket to sit on since it's all outside and concrete. Hands down the best music venue I've been to in the Bay Area. Beautiful setup, great acoustics, and performers can see the entire crowd.
Come early to try and snag one of the stone thrones, and feel like a greek god/goddess
Take BART.Bring grub,a blanket, jacket, and seat cushions. Beers on tap are at View Cafe at the top of the lawn. Don't be the Ahole taking up two seats by sitting with ur back against the seat behind
Parking close is only available if you're super early.
Although the Greek Theater opened in 1903, it had been a favorite outdoor spot since 1894. The name? Ben Weed's Amphitheater.
Magical summer venue. Not a bad seat in the house. Don't forget to star gaze.
Sneak in a flask
$20 parking structure at Hearst & Gayley.
Always bring a cushion! The concrete benches are hard!
DON'T DRIVE! Total pain to get through campus and find parking. Lovely venue though.
Wear flat shoes!!
This is by far one of the sexiest places to see a show in the Bay Area. The sound, lighting and crowd make it all a very enjoyable and intimate experience.
A premier outdoor concert venue that seats nearly 5000. Don't forget to bring your sweater, it can get quite chilly by the end of the night.
Wear comfy shoes the walk from parking to theatre is brutal in heels
Don't wear heels to the greek theatre!
