The Toronto International Film Festival was founded in the Windsor Arms Hotel in 1976, and the hotel's involvement in the Festival continues to this day.
Had afternoon tea at the Windsor Arms Hotel
This is the most authentic tea in the city. The Chai Arms tea, a special blend made specifically for The Windsor Arms, is a must-try.
Stop by on Tuesdays for Oysters - $1.25 per oyster and special beverage surprises - 6pm to 10pm
Try the Chai when you go for high tea. The spices are fragrant and delicious.
High tea here rocks. 50$ a head when I went but a must-try. The Scones R to die for!
Absolutely everything is great here
Join us at Prime in the Windsor Arms Hotel January 25 – February 7, 2013 for a delicious, 3-course, prix fixe meal as part of Toronto's Winterlicious. #LiciousTO
An intimate, all-suite luxury hotel situated in the heart of the city, the historic 26-room Windsor Arms boasts pretty rooms, an indoor pool and a spa famous for its massages.
Best vegan in town
Try the new menu in Lounge 22 - U won't be disappointed!
Don't bother ordering the ahi tuna. The waitress said they haven't had it in a long time and owners should change the menu.
Try Prime Restaurant, the Steak and Creme Brulee are outstanding!Garlic Broccolini is a great side also...
One of the best places for couples massage in Toronto
Best afternoon tea in town
Sit in the front bar, order the $1.25 oysters on Tuesday nights and see if you can get the grill cheese with gravy that's not on the menu (if Antony's working its a plus&enjoy the drinks)
Great spot for your holiday party - dates still available
Afternoon tea is good but I like the one at the Royal York better.
Get the plater for sharing served in The Living Room. its #delish
Go for a drink here as the space is very cool but avoid the food unless it's snacks.
Is like a second home and people are super friendly...
An awesome place for hosting #smwto
I've gone here several times over the years and the quality and service have declined. Chipped teapots? Leaving dirty dishes on the table? Not the experience for high tea that it should be.
The scones and Devon cream with strawberry preserves are so, so good!
Who can deny the high tea is one of the best. There are also some great cocktail lounges and great for weddings
If you like the hotel, you could live in the Windsor Arms Condominium Residences. Residents have access to all hotel amenities including 24 hour room service, housekeeping, salon and spa.
Don't come here
High tea is lovely - try the rose earl gray
Ask for th grilled cheese (no meat) w/ gravy for dipping. Not on the menu, but one of the best things "on" the bar menu
