A great collection by H.F. du Pont with some interesting furniture pieces he accumulated over twenty years. The Downton Abbey exhibit was interesting even though I know nothing about the show.

Gorgeous grounds! Exquisite decor in Winterthur. The Downton Abbey exhibit is a must see. You can skip the lunch at the restaurant...very blah/bland.

You can definitely spend an entire weekend here - wandering the grounds alone is wonderful. Most definitely a seasonal visit is required!!!

The Christmas decor is gorgeous. Sometimes the entertainment.com coupon book has a discount coupon. They also have a childrens' garden which I haven't seen yet.

Outstanding naturalistic garden. It is the former home of Henry Francis du Pont, an avid antiques collector and horticulturist.
