Semi-hidden pub on the ground floor of the Barbican
Good grub, avocado & tomato salad was very nice. Under a fiver for a G&T.
There aren't many lakeside pubs in Central London
Old world wood panelling and strong tables, Spacious hideout and fantastic views over the lake and Guildhall.
The confit of pork is divine
Ask for table with lake view
Smells of stale crisps and men's feet but you get used to it.
