A great train station for the National Zoo. It's is only about 3 blocks away.
Home sweet home! Incase anyone was wondering, it takes 3 min 15 sec from top to bottom without walking the escalator :)
Falling while on the escalator yields almost certain death.
Don't understand the reason yet but free-ride for all who came by shuttle.
AKA "Woodley Park/ National Zoo/ Adams Morgan."
Easiest, cheapest and fastest way to Ronald Reagan National Airport. 20 minutes to DuPont Circle. Only $6 from Airport to DuPont Circle
Omg this is the scariest escalator ever!!! >.< I felt dizzy ...
If you're going to the Zoo, get off the Metro at Cleveland Park. It's almost as close as Woodley Park, and you won't have to walk uphill.
omgg scary escalator :S y5awef
If you're going to the zoo as a tourist, I'd suggest getting off at Cleveland Park instead, since you'll walk downhill.
Tourist: DC Custom on escalator- stand to the right, keep walking/running to the left.
If headphones are in, regardless of how much you are convinced the opposite is warranted, please don't hit on ladies commuting. For real for real.
Enjoy the third longest contiguous escalator in the Western hemisphere
Get in the first third of the train if you're getting off here, going towards Shady Grove. It'll put you closest to the elevator.
Doors open on the left.
The cleanest subway I've ever been on.
One of the best Metro Stations I have ever been on. Totally safe, secure, cheap (very cheap), bright, and interesting! Futuristic design. On Woodley though, it's amazing! Biggest
Ride the longest escalator in the Metro system!
The escalators never work.
Seems safe & it's a great way to get around DC
An 8 car metro holds 1760 people
Access on south side: if from downtwn that's the back of the train. Front of the train if from north. Consider the elevators if going to the zoo: escalators are a long trip in the wrong direction!
The first train toward Shady Grove at 5:37am is an interesting one to take.
take the elevator if you're going toward the zoo. it'll save you a block of walking.
If you are scared of heights make sure to take the escalator!
