This is a really interesting set up. Historic prison built from the brick kiln down the road is now an art center with a farmer's market and some fitness classes. Fascinating.

Formerly a prison, the Workhouse is a place where you can watch artists at work, enjoy a theater performance or glass-blowing demo, a farmers market, cooking class, or just a stroll thru the gallery.

Studio 4 (bldg W-4) artists are a great group: NOT to be missed! They're always doing awesome month-long exhibits covered by local NoVA & DC media.

Great place for a meeting. There's conference space and a cafe, parking is easy, and it's not hard to get to (or get people to, if you're using transport).

This prison-turned-arts center is unique - each bunker houses a different artist who creates and sells art on the spot. They offer various classes and events to the public.
