    Such tight corridors, they sat my party of 4 at this tiny table in the far back corner under the coat hangers!!! There is fried chicken skin, eww... but other fried meats were decent!

    Not so great for a vegetarian. I had the veggie stir fry entre that came with potato salad and spaghetti (!?) bizarre and not particularly tasty...

    Yakitori Taisho is an amazing experience in meat on skewers. You know it has to be good because Japanese teenagers line up around the corner before it even opens. Definitely get in early or wait

    LONG wait but worth it! Definitely do the okonomiyaki and the octopus balls, fantastic yakitori in general, unagi roll is s gift.

    Amazing Negi Ramen at half the price of Ippudo's! Be warned, long wait and tiny bathrooms, but authentic Japanese cuisine.

    Fantastic yakitori in a lively neighborhood. Nearly everything grilled on a stick. Bonus points if you get your group seated in the back room too. Usually a queue everyday of the week.

    This is the kind of place that you just will not find in another city in America. Japanese grilled meat skewers. Crazy looking menus - trust me, this is a cool and unique experience.

    The sabashio (grilled mackerel) was delicious, as was the fried tofu. However, our yakitori set came out cold and the wait staff asked us "are you sure?", which was totally the wrong approach.

    The onigiri is huge and too filling. Split 5–10 skewers and one onigir between two people and you're set. My favorites were garlic and liver.

    Favorite yakitori spot in St. Marks. It's small and a bit cramped but food is too delicious to care. Their ramen is good too. They also have frozen Calpico (adult version!), so yummy !

    Do not get anything from the "Frozen Cocktail" list! For a frozen grapefruit cocktail, I got a cup of Japanese liquor, with half a grapefruit that I had to squeeze into the drink myself. (See photo.)

    Delicious ramen, rice balls the size of your face, a wide variety of yummy skewered meats. Seating may be tight, but it's nothing unbearable - it'll draw you closer to your company (and your food).

    This place is extremely overrated. Meat was poor quality, octopus balls were horrible, chashu avocado was drenched in mayo to mask poor quality pork. New Yorker that fell for a tourist trap! Yikes.
