BEIRUT STREET FOOD 12 WINSLEY STREET, LONDON W1W 8HQ
Some years ago it tasted better. Although the menu is the same the taste is not as good as it was before. The proportions are too big. But still ind service.
Love the platters
Cramped, noisy, and average food with one chicken dish not even cooked properly. Unnecessary club music doesn't help either.
Very good cold and and hot mezze, wine in the carafe was not excellent
Perfect casual Lebanese restaurant with a tasty food and wonderful atmosphere
Hummus is really good, in rest average food 😔
Best hummus in town so far!
Worst place ever & very rude staff
Amazing food quality! It's quite busy, so be prepared to wait. But please check it out
Love the food
Fast service and honestly yummy genuine food .. highly recommended .. love it
The Beirut light lunch dish was a very nice selection, congrats
great mixture of flavors. Very nice platter with chicken and skewers. Platters served only till 5pm. Big pleasure :)
The rakakat makes a great starter... Perhaps to share considering the size of the mains!
Not a good shisha and very expensive.
Generous portions, great shish taouk
Great spot behind Oxford street. Love the sharing dishes and it's fantastic value. I also love the fresh lemonades they do.
Lebanese beer is rubbish. Everything else is great!
Great lunch takeaway spot, falafel and lamb wraps are good.
Very noisy and busy. Wasn't keen on the chicken livers yet good to share some starters and some drinks
Hummus and shawarma is delicious. Best I've had in central London.
The chicken liver really is fantastic. Big portions.
THIS is my most favourite place to dine in London. Incredible good, fantastic ambience and some of the best tasting food I've ever had. This really is one of London's best kept secrets.
Try the fried squid/fishbait yum
Very slow service. Don't go if you are in a hurry at lunch time. Average food, salad was stale and smelly.
Great food and Good service!
A bit pastry heavy, don't recommend the deep fried fish selection. The halloumi and apple & mint juice were delish
Chicken Shawarma is lovely! Arayes are ... odd.
Try their Berry Dance Martinis. Just the perfect level of sweetness and simply delicious!
Seats are so uncomfortable I got a dead leg. Falafels, hommous with shawarma were good. The feta and halloumi pastry and baklava were terrible. Don't get the Timeout approved chicken liver!
Nothing special to be honest. Prices are that which you expect for the area. I won't be going back any time soon.
the best Lebanese food in London! must try: chicken shawarma, baba ghanoush and of course fattoush! just be prepared that all food is very spicy.
Avoid the spinach fatayer
Portions are small and not value for money. The food does taste good though
Portions are very small, so not an ideal place to dine if you're starving. Fun place for a little light snack. (Tiny Chicken Wings)
Very good, everything worthy of a try
Lahém Shawarma!...nuff said
The lamb shawarma goes really well with the apple - mint cooler ...
Lahem casserole = perfect. If you don't like nutmeg- avoid!
The most uncomfortable stools ever
Great food, long wait and extremely slow service. I had a great time, but be aware of what you're getting into. Great cheap and cheerful eats.
Great food. Delicious entrees. Horrible service. Had to wait for long time before getting a menu. Had to wait another 20 mns before the bill came. Food was rushed together: appetizers & entrees. :((
Beware of asking for extra tap water they slip in a £1 gbp for a jug they call a charity jug. It would be helpful if they had info about the charity or told you beforehand. Otherwise great food!
I love London because of places like this -yummy free starter of pickled red cabbage, peppers and mixed olives!
A little gem hidden behind the hordes of tourists but familiar to Londoners. Great good that doesn't dent the wallet (much). Pomegranate juice should be the 1st thing you order. You won't regret it!
The 6 dishes between two recommendation is definitely for dinner, not lunch. #foodcoma
