Shrimp dumplings, potluck buns. Pace yourself. The plates and the $$ add up.

The Shanghai dumplings are amazing, worthy of the hype
  • ISC C.
Many traditional dim sum items, very fresh, and if they don't have it in the cart, they'll get it for you
  • ISC C.
For traditional dim sum, stick with the carts rather than what they bring out on trays
  • ISC C.
Considering it's fairly close to Chinatown, it's a bit pricey in comparison, but it's definitely a very different atmosphere, appealing to the business lunch crowd

High quality, expensive, and very approachable dim sum. Nothing on the carts will freak you out. Be sure to get the soup dumplings and the Peking duck. The Stevenson location is the locals' spot.

The food is good. The service is ridiculously good. But it is pricey for dim sum for sure. Expect $35/person.

Their XLB are nearly as good as Din Tai Fung's. All their dishes are a step above most tea houses, you can't go wrong here.

I did not expect this high quality of authentic dimsum in SF. I was very satisfied with their Shanghai dumpling and Pork Xiu Mye, and Shrimp dumpling! A little pricey though.

The Xiao Long Bao / Shanghai dumplings are where it's at. Expensive and there may be a wait if you don't go early. The service can be great if you order yourself. Cart service comes in waves.
